Humbled to conduct a workshop on “ART OF DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING” organized by the Faculty of Media and Communication at the University of Central Punjab.

Main points covered in the session were documentary film approaches, doc shorts, production methodology & importance of subjectivity.

After winning in the USA, Europe and India now in Canada, I am really delighted to announce that my documentary film "DUNKEY-FOLLOWING EUROPEAN DREAMS" has won the BEST SHORT DOCUMENTARY AT THE SOUTH ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL OF MONTREAL, CANADA.

The film shows the dismal realities of undocumented immigration, it addresses critical issues related to migration, border controls, border violence, and people living on the margins of society.

The film “Dunkey-Following European Dreams"” had also been exhibited in various film festivals around the globe, already, the winner of the prestigious “The Archana Soy Audience Award" for Best Short Documentary Film in Seattle, USA. The film had also been exhibited by United Nations and ICMPD Pakistan.

As we all are coping up with COVID-19 travel restrictions but that great to know that our Art is still traveling around the globe.
