انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ شدت مرض کے زمانے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بے چینی بہت بڑھ گئی تھی ۔ حضرت فاطمہ الزہرا رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا ، آہ اباجان کو کتنی بے چینی ہے ۔ حضور انے اس پر فرمایا ، آج کے بعد تمہارے اباجان کی یہ بے چینی نہیں رہے گی ۔ پھر جب آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہوگئی تو فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی تھیں ، ہائے اباجان ! آپ اپنے رب کے بلاوے پر چلے گئے ، ہائے اباجان ! آپ جنت الفردوس میں اپنے مقام پر چلے گئے ۔ ہم حضرت جبریل علیہ السلام کو آپ کی وفات کی خبر سنا تے ہیں ۔ پھر جب آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دفن کردئےے گئے تو آپ رضی اللہ عنہ نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا ” انس ! تمہارے دل رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نعش پر مٹی ڈالنے کے لیے کس طرح آمادہ ہوگئے تھے ۔
