“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.” – Acts 4:13
This verse is a powerful reminder that God does not choose people based on education, status, or position. Peter and John were simple, ordinary men. They had no high titles, no formal religious training. Yet when they spoke, there was boldness. There was authority. There was power.
Why?
Because they had been with Jesus.
When we spend time with Jesus, He changes us. He fills us with courage to stand before opposition. He gives us wisdom beyond our learning. He puts His Spirit inside us, and people begin to see something different in our lives.
Today, God is not looking for the most qualified—He is looking for the most surrendered. When we walk closely with Christ, our lives will speak louder than our words. Even our enemies will recognize that we belong to Him.
May people look at us and say:
“These are ordinary people… but they have been with Jesus.”
Amen. 🙏
