🚀 Transforming Public Relations & Broadcasting Through Innovation and AI

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan led a delegation from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan in a meeting with Mr. Matiullah Khan, Secretary, Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The discussions focused on key initiatives aimed at strengthening the existing information and communication infrastructure while exploring opportunities for greening KP’s information ecosystem through sustainable technologies.

🤝 Key areas discussed for Academia–Government collaboration included:

🤖 AI for Media Intelligence: Exploring how Artificial Intelligence can optimize media intelligence, content analysis, and multi-channel monitoring.

🎙️ Modern Broadcasting Infrastructure: Discussing how modern broadcasting infrastructure can expand public reach, accessibility, and engagement.

☀️ Hybrid Solarization: Exploring hybrid solar energy solutions to ensure reliable and sustainable operational continuity for essential facilities.

🤝 University–Government Partnerships: Strengthening G2G and academic-government collaboration to accelerate innovation, digital transformation, and technology-driven solutions in the public sector.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Barkat Ullah, Deputy Director Procurement & Accounts, and Mr. Zar Ali Khan, Deputy Director Admin & Operations, from the Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The engagement highlights the potential of AI, engineering expertise, renewable energy, and academia-government collaboration in driving innovation, modernization, and sustainable development across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
