Closing Ceremony Report – Sports Gala 2025

The closing ceremony of the Sports Gala 2025 marked the successful conclusion of a highly competitive and well-organized tournament. The event showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and sportsmanship across all participating departments.

The Computer Science Department emerged as the overall champions of the Sports Gala 2025, demonstrating consistent excellence throughout the event. The Electrical Engineering Department secured the second position, delivering strong performances across multiple sports.

Event-wise Results:
• Basketball: The Civil Engineering Department won the final, maintaining an impressive four-year consecutive championship streak.
• Cricket: The Natural Sciences and Humanities (NSH) Department claimed the title, remaining champions for the third consecutive year.
• Football: The Computer Science Department won the football final after a competitive match.
• Volleyball: The Electrical Engineering Department secured victory in the volleyball final.
• Tug of War: The Telecom Engineering Department won the tug of war final.
• Badminton: The Computer Science Department emerged victorious in the badminton final.
• Table Tennis: The Telecom Engineering Department won the table tennis final.

Cricket
The second round was played.
The Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering departments qualified for the semifinals, while the Software Engineering department and the Center of Artificial Intelligence (CAI) were knocked out of the tournament.

Badminton
The semifinals were played.
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departments qualified for the final.

Table Tennis
The final match was played.
The Telecom Engineering department defeated the Computer Science department to win the final.

Basketball
The semifinals were played.
The Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments qualified for the final.

Volleyball
The semifinal matches were played.
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departments qualified for the final.

Day 5 Sports Report

Badminton
The Computer Science Department defeated the Electrical Engineering Department in the final to claim the championship.

Volleyball
The Electrical Engineering Department secured victory against the Computer Science Department in the final match.

Basketball
The final match will be played between the Civil Engineering Department and the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Cricket
The semifinal match will be played between the Electrical Engineering Department and the Mechanical Engineering Department, while the Natural Sciences and Humanities (NSH) Department has advanced to the final.

Football
The final match will be contested between the Electrical Engineering Department and the Computer Science Department.

🚀 Student Innovation Competition 2025 | UET Mardan 🚀

The Center of Artificial Intelligence (CoAI), UET Mardan is proud to announce the Student Innovation Competition 2025 under the Automation Challenge theme:

💧 Microbial Analysis of Drinking Water

We invite innovative and motivated UET Mardan undergraduate students (individuals or teams of up to 3) from Engineering, AI, and Computing disciplines to design automated and AI-based solutions aimed at modernizing microbial testing of drinking water by reducing manual lab work.

Table Tennis
The first round of table tennis matches was conducted successfully. The departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering qualified for the semi-finals.

Volleyball
The remaining two first-round volleyball matches were played. Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering secured their places in the semi-finals.

Basketball
The first round of basketball matches was completed. The departments of Mechanical Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering advanced to the semi-finals.

Day 3 Sports Report

Cricket
The first round of cricket matches was completed. The departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Telecommunication Engineering won their respective matches and advanced to the next round.

Table Tennis
The semi-final matches were played. Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering qualified for the final.

Badminton
The first round matches were played.
Electrical engineering,Civil engineering, Telecom engineering and Computer science department made into 2nd round.

Volleyball
The semi-final matches will be played among the departments of Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.

The semi-final matches will be contested between Civil Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Software Engineering.

On Day 1, competitions in tug of war, football, basketball, and volleyball were conducted.
• Tug of War: The Telecom Engineering Department emerged as winners, while the Electrical Engineering Department secured the runner-up position.
• Football: Quarterfinal and semifinal matches were played. The Computer Science and Electrical Engineering departments qualified for the final.
• Volleyball: Two first-round matches were held. The Computer Science and Software Engineering departments advanced to the second round.
• Basketball: Two first-round matches were played. The Software Engineering and Civil Engineering departments progressed to the second round.
