If weโ€™re optimizing for conversions, getting at least 20 conversions per ad set within 7 days is crucial to allow Facebook to optimize effectively. For example, if you're selling a $50 product, the starting budget should be around $1,000 (20 conversions * $50) over a week. While traffic optimization is another option, it can yield inconsistent results.

I'd recommend setting a target lead cost for lead generation, especially when launching a new campaign without prior data on lead costs. Letโ€™s say we aim for $10 per lead; the weekly budget would then be $200. From there, I would assess the backend conversion rateโ€”how many of those leads become customersโ€”to refine a reasonable lead cost based on the average customer value.
