Today I ordered just one paratha roll through foodpanda, and the delivery took almost 2 hours.
Honestly, this is becoming a very common issue now. The most disappointing part was not even the delay, it was the lack of proper customer communication and support during the entire process.
If customers are paying delivery charges and trusting your platform, then basic service quality should at least be reliable. Waiting this long for a simple order completely defeats the purpose of using a food delivery app People order online to save time and avoid inconvenience, not to keep checking the app for hours wondering where the rider is.
foodpanda really needs to work on:
* Better rider management
* Accurate delivery estimates instead of fake timings
* Faster customer support responses
* Proper communication during delays
* Limiting overload on riders during busy hours.
The riders alone should not get all the blame because many times the system itself looks poorly managed. But from a customer’s perspective like this slowly distroy trust on the platform.
if service quality keeps dropping like this, many loyal users will eventually move away from the app completely.
