There is something so deeply emotional about watching a woman get married.❤️🩹
Everyone sees the dress, the flowers, the smile, the celebrations.✨
But somewhere beneath it all is a girl quietly saying goodbye to the only life she has ever known.🥺
She is not just walking towards the man she loves.🤍
She is also walking away from the little, everyday things that once felt permanent her room, her routines, the sound of her family in the next room, and the comfort of knowing she will wake up in the same home she has always called hers.🏡🤍
And then, almost overnight, she is expected to embrace a new home, new relationships, new responsibilities, and a whole new version of herself.❤️🩹
Perhaps that is why a bride’s heart is so tender.🥹🤍
Because on one of the happiest days of her life, she is also carrying a thousand quiet goodbyes that no one can see.🥺
She can be deeply in love with the life waiting for her and still ache for the one she is leaving behind. She can be excited to become a wife and still miss being just a daughter in her parents’ home.🤍🏡
And maybe that is the most beautiful, fragile thing about marriage for a woman — she doesn’t simply begin a new life.✨
She carries pieces of her first home in her heart and slowly, lovingly, learns how to make another place feel like home too.🤍
It has almost been a year, and somehow, it still feels surreal.✨
Sometimes, I look back at these pictures and wonder how one day could hold so much happiness, so much love, and so many emotions all at once.🤍
Almost a year later, I’m still learning, still growing, still becoming, and still carrying every version of the girl I was before I became a wife.🥹🤍✨
