Dead Animals: A Lesson from the Prophet ﷺ | Hadith on Using Animal Skin | Hafiz Basharat Hussain Mughal

A beautiful Hadith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما, highlighting the ruling regarding the skin of a dead animal and the benefit that can be obtained from it after proper tanning.
📖 Hadith:
The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead goat and said that its skin could be tanned and used for benefit. The Companions رضی اللہ عنہم said, “It is dead.” The Prophet ﷺ replied that only eating it is forbidden.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to understand and follow the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. Ameen.

Can You Perform Wudu with Seawater? | Beautiful Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ

Hazrat Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ narrates that some people came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked about performing Wudu with seawater due to having limited fresh water. The Prophet ﷺ replied that they could perform Wudu with it.
This Hadith teaches us about the permissibility of using seawater for Wudu.

رحمت اور مغفرت کی خوبصورت قرآنی دعا
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
ترجمہ:
اے ہمارے رب! اگر ہم بھول جائیں یا ہم سے خطا ہو جائے تو ہماری گرفت نہ فرمانا۔ اے ہمارے رب! ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈالنا جو ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈالا گیا۔ اے ہمارے رب! ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈالنا جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہیں۔ ہمیں معاف فرما، ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم فرما۔ تو ہی ہمارا کارساز ہے، پس کافروں کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد فرما۔
📖 سورۃ البقرۃ: 286
یہ عظیم دعا مغفرت، رحمت، آسانی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی مدد طلب کرنے کے لیے بہت پیاری قرآنی دعا ہے۔ اسے یاد کریں، پڑھیں اور دوسروں تک بھی پہنچائیں۔

The Best Dua for This World & the Hereafter | Rabbana Atina Fid-Dunya Hasanah

A beautiful and powerful Qur’anic dua for success in both this world and the Hereafter:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation:
“Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
📖 Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201
This is one of the most comprehensive duas, asking Allah ﷻ for goodness in this life, goodness in the Hereafter, and protection from the punishment of Hellfire. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ frequently recited this dua.
