The people of Sukkur (Sindh-Pakistan) deserve answers.
While many residents continue to struggle with damaged roads, poor infrastructure, electricity load shedding, and gas shortages, there are widespread public concerns about how development funds are being spent.
If there are credible allegations that public contracts are not being awarded transparently, or that public money is not resulting in quality infrastructure, these issues deserve independent investigation. Accountability and transparency are essential in any democracy.
I urge national and international media to investigate the facts and report objectively on:
• The condition of Sukkur's infrastructure.
• How public development contracts are awarded.
• Whether public funds are being used effectively.
• Whether proper oversight and accountability mechanisms are in place.
The goal is not to target individuals without evidence, but to ensure that the public interest comes first and that citizens receive the infrastructure and services they deserve.
