Amidst fair Pakistan's vast and varied land,
Where lower and middle class do stand,
A burden heavy on their backs they bear,
As costs of living rise, a cross to wear.
High tariff bills like storms upon them fall,
Electricity's cost, a looming wall,
With every passing day, a greater weight,
Their struggle fierce, their toil innate.
In streets once safe, now shadows creep,
Snatching peace, as darkness seeps,
Law's order wanes, a dire plight,
A land of chaos, day and night.
Institutional vows, commitments made,
Yet wages stagnant, hopes delayed,
With costs on rise, and coffers bare,
Employees sigh in deep despair.
O leaders high, with hearts of stone,
Can you not hear the common moan?
Inflation's fire burns with might,
As dreams take flight in endless night.
O plight of those who live in fear,
With salaries stagnant, far and near,
To institutions, a plea to heed,
The cries of those in dire need.
For families' hopes, for children's dreams,
Let empathy flow like winding streams,
In unity, let's forge a way,
To bring back hope, to light the day.
Let's bridge the gap 'twixt rich and poor,
And on their wounds, let kindness pour,
With open hearts, let's face the strife,
And breathe in hope to transform life.
