Ms. Fatima Faraz is Pakistan's youngest climate and environmental activist and shining star of the Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Awards Belonging to a male dominant society of Pashtuns, Fatima overcame all the societal norms and started her climate activism in 2019 and since then she has been organizing climate strikes, seminars, plantation, and cleanup drives for the awareness of climate change.
Fatima also works on women's empowerment and mainly focuses on spreading awareness amongst sensitive masses like women, indigenous people, and people of color. Currently, she is one of UNICEF's youth adolescents and UNICEF activists. Along with that Fatima has spoken at over 50 webinars including the UN conference of climate.
Recently her story was documented by DW and Starz play which was played all across the country in the season HER: Women in Asia, which mainly focused on Fatima's social work and her achievement. Fatima has actively worked with the British Embassy, Ministry if Climate Change, United Nations, Fridays for Future, and other national organizations.
