University of Peshawar signs a five years agreement with Italian University of Gastronomic Sciences, Pollenzo
Vice Chancellor appreciates Dr.Fazal Hadi relentless efforts
Peshawar:University of Peshawar has entered into a five years agreement through the memorandum of understanding with the Italian University of Gastronomic Sciences, Pollenzo, to enhance cooperation in the field of plant sciences specially Ethnobotany, Indigenous and traditional foods, medicinal plants, along with the cultural, researcher, and students' exchange programme in coming years .
The Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof.Dr.Muhammad Naeem Qazi congratulated the Department of Botany ,focal person Dr.Fazal Hadi for his tireless efforts for maturing the agreement and building cross-cultural research calloboration with leading university of Italy . The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Qazi paid rich tribute to former rector Prof. Dr. Andrea Peironi, Head of Department of Ethnobotany,
University of Gastronomic and current incumbent rector Prof.Dr.Nicolo Perullo for his intent for fostering research calloboration, including bolstering students and faculty exchange in coming years.
According to the details, the agreement will boost the traditional and indigenous food market along with medicinal plants research from Pakistan diverse regions and different cultures. He emphasized that value addition to Indigenous food is least focused topic in our academic research, and this agreement will address this issue.
