کرنسی مارکیٹ میں امریکی ڈالر نے پاکستانی روپے کو روند ڈالا۔ ملکی تاریخ میں ایک ہی دن میں ڈالر کی قیمت میں 25 روپے کا اضافہ ہوگیا، اوپن مارکیٹ میں ڈالر 12 روپے مہنگا ہوگیا۔

ایشیائی ترقیاتی بینک (اے ڈی بی) نے بس ریپڈ ٹرانزٹ (بی آر ٹی) سسٹم کے آپریٹر زوپشاور کو انٹرنیشنل گولڈ اسٹینڈرڈ سیٹس (آئی جی ایس ایس) حاصل کرنے پر مبارکباد دی، یہ نوٹ کرتے ہوئے کہ پشاور، پاکستان، اب باضابطہ طور پر برصغیر کا پہلا شہر بن گیا ہے۔ ایشیا میں تیسرا، اور گولڈ اسٹینڈرڈ حاصل کرنے والا دنیا میں 7 واں۔

عالمی معیار کی بس ریپڈ ٹرانزٹ (BRT) کا جائزہ لینے والی ٹیک کمیٹی کے رکن ڈاکٹر والٹر ہک نے یہ معیار خیبر پختونخوا کے وزیر کامران بنگش کے حوالے کیا۔

یہ ایوارڈ جمعرات کو پشاور میں منعقدہ ایک تقریب میں اے ڈی بی کی مالی اعانت سے چلنے والے بی آر ٹی منصوبے کو دیا گیا۔

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) congratulated ZuPeshawar, the operator of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, on receiving the International Gold Standard Satus (IGSS), noting that Peshawar, Pakistan, has now officially become the first city in the subcontinent, third in Asia, and 7th in the world to receive the Gold Standard.

Dr. Walter Hook, a member of the Tech Committee that assesses world-class Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), handed the standard to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Minister Kamran Bangash.

The award was presented to the ADB funded BRT project in a ceremony held in Peshawar on Thursday.
