*Positive Shift in Pakistan-Afghanistan Ties: Commitment to Regional Cooperation and Trust Building*
Peshawar: Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, Barrister Saif, shared encouraging developments in Pakistan-Afghanistan relations following his recent meeting with the Afghan Ambassador.
Speaking to the media, Barrister Saif emphasized the deep-rooted cultural and historical ties between the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan, stating that these relations cannot be ignored. He said the two sides discussed a wide range of issues, including peace, border cooperation, and strengthening mutual trust.
He revealed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has pledged to establish a *cancer hospital in Afghanistan* and will provide *technical support in bordering regions* as a gesture of goodwill and humanitarian cooperation.
"Removing mistrust between the two nations is the need of the hour," he said, adding that peaceful and cooperative relations with Afghanistan are essential for long-term regional stability and prosperity.
This development is seen as a step forward toward building stronger ties, fostering peace, and opening doors for future collaboration in health, security, and socio-economic development.
