The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, although he disliked every kind of sin, had a very strong and unique dislike for lying. Companions reported that nothing angered him more than falsehood. If he came to know that someone had lied, his heart would feel a kind of distance and discomfort toward that person until they sincerely repented. This shows how deeply truthfulness was valued in his character and teachings. Lying was not seen as a small fault but as a dangerous act that breaks trust and harms society. His reaction teaches us that honesty is the foundation of faith, and without it, relationships and communities cannot remain strong. The Prophet ﷺ’s intense dislike for lying was not out of personal anger but out of concern for the spiritual health of his people. He wanted every believer to build their life on truth, because truth brings peace, while lies bring harm and division.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, during his final illness, was given the divine choice that every Prophet receives at the time of death: whether to remain in this world or to return to Allah. In those sacred moments, he expressed his wish by saying, “O Allah, let me be with the Highest Companion (Ar-Rafiq al-A‘la).” This heartfelt prayer revealed his decision to choose the eternal life of the Hereafter over the temporary life of this world. When Aisha (RA) heard these words, she understood that the Prophet ﷺ had chosen to depart and join his Lord. This authentic narration shows the Prophet’s deep longing for closeness to Allah and his acceptance of the divine decree with peace and devotion. It also teaches believers that the true success is not in clinging to worldly life but in preparing for the eternal meeting with Allah. His final choice reflects his unwavering faith, his love for the Divine, and his role as a guide who showed his followers how to embrace death with dignity and trust in Allah’s mercy.

A man once came as a guest to the house of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was given milk from a goat to drink and finished it completely. He was then given milk from a second goat and drank that too, followed by a third, and this continued until he had drunk the milk of seven goats in total. The next morning the same man accepted Islam and became a Muslim. When milk was offered to him again after his conversion, he was only able to drink the milk of a single goat and could take no more. Seeing this change the Prophet ﷺ explained that a believer eats and drinks filling only one intestine while a disbeliever fills seven intestines. This incident showed how faith transforms a person’s habits and reduces greed and excess.

When a woman from the tribe of Banu Makhzum committed theft, the Quraysh tried to protect her by sending the Prophet’s beloved companion Usama ibn Zayd (RA) to intercede so that her hand would not be cut. When Usama (RA) made this request, the Prophet ﷺ became visibly upset, his face turning red, and he declared that earlier nations were destroyed because they applied punishment unequally if a noble person committed a crime, they were spared, but if a poor person did the same, they were punished. He then emphasized justice by saying: “By Allah, if my own daughter Fatimah were to steal, I would cut off her hand.” This narration is found in Sahih al‑Bukhari (Hadith 6788) and Sahih Muslim (Hadith 1688), and explained in Sharh Sahih Muslim by Imam Nawawi and Fath al‑Bari by Ibn Hajar, where scholars highlight that the Prophet ﷺ established absolute equality before the law, ensuring that justice in Islam is not based on status or wealth but on truth and fairness.

A unique spiritual and physical miracle (Khasais al-Nabi) granted exclusively to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was his continuous heart awareness even during deep physical rest. Companions like Ibn Abbas (RA) and Mother of the Believers Aisha (RA) observed that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would sleep at night until the gentle sound of his breathing or light snoring could be heard. Yet, upon waking, he would rise directly to perform the Tahajjud or Fajr prayer without renewing his ablution (Wudu). When Hazrat Aisha (RA) respectfully asked, "O Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before offering Witr?" the Prophet (PBUH) revealed a profound reality of his prophetic nature, stating: "O 'Aisha, my eyes sleep, but my heart never sleeps." For ordinary humans, deep sleep breaks ritual purity due to the loss of physical consciousness, but the Prophet's heart remained in a perpetual state of divine connection and spiritual alertness.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provided terrifying details regarding the horrifying creatures that inhabit Jahannam to intensify the punishment for the wicked. He warned that Hell contains colossal, monstrous snakes as thick and massive as giant Bactrian camels. Alongside them dwell terrifying, venomous scorpions whose physical size matches that of large mules. When these infernal predators bite or sting a condemned soul, their toxic venom will not quickly fade; instead, the excruciating pain and torment will continuously wrack the body for forty full years. This vivid and terrifying description serves as a sobering reminder of the horrific realities awaiting those who reject divine guidance.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once delivered a chilling and profound revelation regarding the terrifying reality of the afterlife, forever shifting the companions' perspective on the elements of this world. Addressing his followers, he (PBUH) stated that the ordinary fire of this Earth the absolute hottest flames that humanity kindles for warmth, forging, and industry represents merely a single, diluted fraction out of seventy parts of the devastating fire of Hell. When the companions, deeply unsettled by the sheer intensity of worldly fire, remarked that the fire of this world alone would certainly have been enough for punishment, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) clarified its true, unimaginable magnitude. He explained that the fire of Jahannam has been multiplied by sixty-nine times, with every single one of those sixty-nine parts possessing the exact same scorching heat as the fiercest worldly fire.

A righteous man once purchased a plot of land, and while tending to his newly acquired property, he miraculously unearthed a hidden earthen pot filled entirely with gold. Displaying unwavering integrity, the buyer immediately carried the treasure back to the seller, insisting that he had only purchased the dirt, not the buried wealth. Astoundingly, the seller was equally God-fearing and flatly refused to take the gold back, arguing that he had permanently sold the land and absolutely everything contained within it. Since neither man was willing to claim the immense riches out of a strict fear of displeasing Allah, they took their uniquely selfless dispute to a wise judge for a final resolution. The judge, utterly amazed by their extraordinary moral character, inquired about their families and discovered that one man had a son while the other had a daughter. He then proposed a beautiful and mutually beneficial solution: they should marry their children to one another, spend the golden treasure to establish the newlywed couple, and give a portion in charity. Both men happily agreed to this blessed union.
