زیتون کرشنگ کا آغاز

اس سال گرمی کی وجہ سے زیتون کی قسم گاملیک جلدی تیار ہوگئی، اسی لیے کرشنگ کا عمل ستمبر سے ہی شروع کر دیا گیا ہے، جو دسمبر کے آخر تک جاری رہے گا۔

لورالائی سینٹر میں مشینیں جنریٹر پر چلتی ہیں اور صرف ۱۶۰ روپے فی کلو چارجز رکھے گئے ہیں۔ کرشنگ مل کی صلاحیت ۶۰۰ کلو فی گھنٹہ ہے، اور ضرورت پر مزید چلائی جا سکتی ہے۔

خصوصی شکریہ محترم وزیرِ زراعت بلوچستان میر علی حسن زہری صاحب اور سیکرٹری زراعت نور احمد پیرکانی صاحب کا، جن کی قیادت میں یہ سہولت ممکن ہوئی۔

Olive Crushing Season Begins
Due to the hot weather this year, the Gamlic olive variety ripened earlier than usual. That’s why crushing has started from September, instead of the regular 15th October, and will continue till end of December.

At the Loralai center, machines are operated on generators with only PKR 160 per kg charges, just to cover fuel costs. The crushing mill capacity is 600 kg per hour, and can be operated longer if farmer demand increases.

One-Day Seminar on Safe & Responsible Use of Pesticides

Syngenta Pakistan in collaboration with the Directorate of Plant Protection (Extension), Balochistan Quetta successfully organized a one-day seminar on 2nd September 2025 at Candle Marquee, Joint Road, Quetta.

Chief Guest
Mr. Bashir Ahmed Buzdar, Deputy Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperatives Department, Government of Balochistan, honored the event as Chief Guest and shared valuable insights on ensuring safer and more responsible pesticide use for farmers and the environment.

Keynote Sessions
Dr. Habibullah Shah, Director Agriculture Plant Protection, Balochistan, stressed the importance of adopting safe pesticide practices for sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.
Mr. Mushtaq Nizamani, representing Syngenta Pakistan, highlighted the company’s commitment to farmer training and awareness programs to build their capacity for responsible pesticide handling and application.
