MDCAT 2026 is scheduled to be held nationwide on Sunday, September 20, with nine examination centers established across Sindh, including two in Karachi.

The Karachi centers at NED University and Dow University of Health Sciences’ Ojha Campus will accommodate thousands of candidates. Additional centers have been established in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana and Sukkur.

Electricity prices may increase by Rs1.73 per unit under the monthly fuel adjustment for August, after the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) submitted its request to NEPRA.

The proposed adjustment could add around Rs29.5 billion to the burden on electricity consumers and would also apply to K-Electric customers if approved. NEPRA is scheduled to hear the request on September 29.
