You’ve likely heard about games like "Hamster Kombat" on Telegram that claim you can make money through mining.

A few days ago, Hamster shared the results of Season 1, and many people got tricked.

My friends, if you really want to make good money, spend 3 to 6 months learning a useful skill. These games are just wasting your time and fooling people.

Instead of spending hours clicking on these apps, use that time to learn a digital skill that will truly benefit you.

Proposal Tips Here 🤩

Things to include: ✅
→ Your experience (to show you can do the job)
→ Results from similar projects
→ Give advice to your client
→ A clear call to action (what they should do next)

Things to avoid: ❌
→ Submitting AI-written proposals
→ Starting with phrases like "Hello, how are you? I am a professional..."
→ Charging too little
→ Being too general
→ Making promises you can’t keep

These are basic tips for new freelancers.

Upwork is a great platform, and you can get high paying clients if you improve yourself and follow these tips.

Don't waste your Upwork Connects by applying to jobs that aren't a good fit or sending proposals to clients who aren't verified. ⚠️

Be cautious, especially if you're new to Upwork. A common issue for new freelancers is running out of Connects, and many can't afford to buy more.

Avoid applying if client's:
→ Payment isn't verified
→ Rating is below 4.0
→ Already has 20+ proposals
→ Has sent invitations

These tips are for new freelancers. If you have a strong Upwork profile and portfolio, you can apply more freely.

I don’t understand why the situation for freelancers on Upwork is so bad. ☹️

Yesterday, I posted a job on Upwork looking for a blog writer. I’ve already received over 100 proposals, and new proposals are still coming in from new freelancers.

However, only 2 or 3 are from people who can actually do the job, and they are from India and Kenya.

Most of the proposals are not useful, and many are from my Pakistani friends who don’t know how to write a good proposal just copying and pasting from AI. Then they complain that they can’t find work on Upwork. This is why.

The funny part is, you can see how many people have sent proposals, and I’m still getting more.

When I apply for a job and see more than 20 proposals, I just ignore it and move on.

You all need to learn how to use Upwork in a professional and effective way.
