With great sadness, it is shared that Javed Faris, brother of Sajid Faris and Majid Faris from Datote, has also passed away. Earlier today, their respected mother was laid to rest, and Javed could not bear the pain of his mother’s departure, leaving this mortal world shortly afterward. Indeed, death is a bitter truth of life. This is a tremendous trial for the entire family.

With heartfelt condolences to the family, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant Javed Sahib and his honorable mother the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to give the entire family the strength and patience to bear this immense loss. Ameen.

In a tragic incident in Kharick Dhera, Rawalakot, a woman lost her life after being shot. Various speculations are circulating on social media, so here is a brief clarification.

The woman hailed from Thorar and was married to a man named Adnan from the village of Parat. The couple lived on rent in Mutyal Mera, with their home accessible via Khadak Dhera.

Yesterday, the woman, her husband, and another unidentified person were traveling home in a rickshaw. Allegedly, at the Dhera area, an individual named Naveed, said to be from Pothi, had an altercation with Adnan over some unresolved issue. Reports suggest there was a verbal dispute during this encounter.

According to the initial statements from the rickshaw driver and Adnan, Naveed fired at the rickshaw from behind, and the bullet struck Adnan’s wife in the back. Tragically, she passed away before reaching the hospital.

(Questions remain about the nature of the dispute between Adnan and Naveed, why Naveed was present on Dhera Road, and what the specific issue was.)

The police have detained Adnan and the rickshaw driver for initial investigation and are actively pursuing the arrest of Naveed, a resident of Pothi Bala. The woman’s body has been sent to her native village Thorar after a post-mortem examination.

Miraculously, the woman’s 18-month-old daughter, who was in her lap at the time of the incident, survived unhurt.
