📖 Miles in Time ⏳

Review: A beautiful and clever time travel mystery.
It follows the story of a 14 year old boy Miles, a detective who usually solves small-town cases-until his older brother, Simon dies under mysterious circumstances. Miles discovers his brother's secret time working machine and decides to go back in time and save his brother.

I loved how the mystery unfolded as Miles traveled back in time.
There were some emotional moments where I really felt for Miles, especially with how isolated he felt from his family and friends. The twists surprised me, and the story kept me hooked from start to finish.

Great for fans of mystery, sci-fi, or just a good adventure. Highly recommended 🫡

Review: Britannia Rises is a wonderful political thriller that pulls you in from the start. The novel takes place in a future Britain where the Queen has died, and her son Alfred steps into power - along with all the enemies waiting to take the empire down.

At the same time, Jamie Bayston, a school teacher, witnesses a murder and finds himself in the middle of a dangerous fight he never asked for.

What follows is a deadly spiral into a world of secrets and manipulation. Truth is buried, loyalty is rare, and survival comes at a cost.

Loved this book. It's fast paced and characters are easy to love.
