لودھراں میں حفاظتی بند ٹوٹنے پر حیات پور، مراد پور اور پیپل والا سمیت متعدد بستیاں زیر آب آ گئیں۔ سیلاب میں پھنسے تین لڑکوں کو ریسکیو کرلیا گیا۔
دریائے ستلج میں اونچے درجے کا سیلاب ہے۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر کے مطابق ضلع بہاولپور کے 98 مواضعات پانی میں مکمل اور جزوی طور پر ڈوبے ہیں۔ ضلع میں ڈیڑھ لاکھ افراد سیلاب سے متاثر ہیں۔

پنجاب کے محنت کشوں کی کم از کم اجرت 40 ہزار روپے کرنے کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا گیا۔

لاہور سے جاری نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق مزدوروں کو 26 ورکنگ ڈیز پر کم از کم 40 ہزار روپے اجرت دی جائے گی۔

نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق 8 گھنٹے کام کرنے پر 1538.46 روپے اجرت ملے گی۔

وفاقی حکومت کے قرضے اور واجبات ملکی تاریخ کی نئی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گئے۔
اسٹیٹ بینک نے جون 2025 تک ملک پر قرضوں اور واجبات کے اعداد و شمار جاری کردیے جس کے مطابق وفاقی حکومت کا قرض مالی سال 2025 میں 13 فیصد بڑھا ہے۔
اعداد و شمار کے مطابق وفاقی حکومت کا قرض جون 2025 تک 77 ہزار 888 ارب روپے رہا، وفاقی حکومت کا قرض جون 2024 میں 68 ہزار 914 ارب روپے تھا۔
اسٹیٹ بینک کے مطابق وفاقی حکومت کا مقامی قرض 15.5 فیصد بڑھ کر 54 ہزار 471 ارب روپے ہوگیا۔
وفاقی حکومت کا بیرونی قرض 7.6 فیصد بڑھ کر 23 ہزار 417 ارب روپے ہوگیا ہے۔

وطن عزیز پر ایک اور بیٹا قربان، ایس ایس جی کمانڈر میجر عدنان شہید ہوگئے جرت بہادری اور شجاعت کی داستان، وطن عزیز کی حفاظت کی خاطر ایک اور بہادر سپوت ایس ایس جی کمانڈر میجر عدنان جام شہادت نوش فرما گئے، سی ایم ایچ راولپنڈی میں 3 روز داخل رہنے کے بعد وہ آج شہادت کے مرتبے پر فائز ہوئے۔
گزشتہ دنوں بنوں میں دہشتگروں کے خلاف بہادری سے لڑتے ہوئے ایس ایس جی کمانڈر میجر عدنان زخمی ہوگئے تھے، بہادری کی اعلیٰ مثال قائم کرنے والے میجر عدنان تین دن سے CMH راولپنڈی میں زیر علاج تھے۔سوشل میڈیا پر شہادت سے قبل اُن کی ایک ویڈیو کافی گردش کررہی ہے جس میں وہ اپنے زخموں کی پروا نہ کرتے ہوئے اپنے ساتھی کا پوچھے رہے ہیں کہ وہ کیسا ہے؟ ویڈیو میں دیکھا جاسکتا ہے کہ وطن عزیز کے بہادر سپوت نے ہوش میں آتے ہی سب سے پہلے اپنے ساتھی کا حال پوچھا۔
میجر عدنان (SSG) نے حملہ آوروں سے لڑتے ہوئے اپنے زخمی ساتھی کو اپنے جسم سے ڈھانپ کر بچایا وہ خود 4 گولیاں لگنے سے شدید زخمی ہوئے ، ان کی بہادری نے ساتھی کی جان بچائی اور 2 حملہ آوروں کو جہنم واصل کیا۔

نئی سائنسی تحقیق کے مطابق صبح سویرے نہار منہ سگریٹ نوشی منہ، گلے اور پھیپھڑوں کے کینسر کے امکانات کو کئی گنا بڑھا دیتی ہے۔ پنسلوانیا اسٹیٹ یونیورسٹی کے پروفیسر اسٹیون برانسٹیٹر کی تحقیق سے یہ بات سامنے آئی ہے کہ جو افراد جاگنے کے پہلے 30 منٹ کے اندر سگریٹ پیتے ہیں، ان کے خون میں NNAL نامی خطرناک کیمیکل کی مقدار نمایاں طور پر زیادہ پائی گئی۔ یہ مادہ تمباکو میں موجود NNK نامی کینسر پیدا کرنے والے جز سے بنتا ہے۔یہ بھی ثابت ہوا ہے کہ اگر دو افراد دن بھر میں ایک ہی تعداد میں سگریٹ پییں، تب بھی وہ شخص جو صبح اٹھتے ہی سگریٹ پیتا ہے، زیادہ خطرے میں ہوتا ہے، کیونکہ نہار منہ نکوٹین کی شدت سے طلب ہوتی ہے، جو دماغ کو فوری سگریٹ کی طرف مائل کرتی ہے۔ یہی وہ لمحہ ہوتا ہے جب نکوٹین جسم پر سب سے زیادہ نقصان دہ اثرات چھوڑتی ہے۔

لاہور میں بیٹوں نے پیسے نہ دینے پر ماں کو قتل کرکے لاش کھیتوں میں پھینک دی جو انسانی ڈھانچہ بننے کے بعد پولیس کو ملی، بعد ازاں خاتون کی شناخت مارگریٹ کے نام سے ہوئی۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ کاہنہ میں کھیت سے چند روز قبل ملنے والا انسانی ڈھانچہ مارگریٹ نامی خاتون کا نکلا، خاتون کو اس کے دو بیٹوں نے گلا دبا کر قتل کر دیا تھا۔۔
پولیس کے مطابق لاش سے کچھ فاصلے پر زمین میں دھنساہوا شاپنگ بیگ ملا تھا، جس میں سے کچھ رقم اور بجلی کے بل نکلے تھے، بجلی کے بلوں کے ذریعے خاتون کے گھر کا پتا ملا، پولیس ٹیم گھر تک پہنچی تو خاتون کے لاپتہ ہونے کا علم ہوا۔
پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ خاتون کے دو بیٹوں سے پوچھ گچھ کی تو انھوں نے اعتراف جرم کر لیا، دونوں بیٹوں نے پیسے نہ دینے پر ماں کو قتل کیا، ملزمان نے لاش رکشے میں ڈال کر کھیت کے قریب پھینک دی تھی، گرفتار دونوں ملزمان بھائی نشے کے عادی ہیں۔

زہریلے مشروم سے رشتہ داروں کو مارنے والی آسٹریلوی خاتون کو عمر قید آسٹریلیا میں زہریلے مشروم کھلا کر رشتہ داروں کو جان سے مارنے والی خاتون کو عدالت نے عمر قید کی سزا سنا دی ہے۔
امریکی خبر رساں ادارے اے پی کے مطابق پیر کو ایرین پیٹرسن کو سنائی گئی 33 برس پر مشتمل اور ناقابل ضمانت ہو گی۔
ریاست وکٹوریہ کی سپریم کورٹ کے جج جسٹس کرسٹوفر بیلے کا کہنا ہے کہ خاتون کے جرائم میں بھروسے کو توڑنا بھی شامل ہے۔
عدالت نے سات جولائی کو 50 سالہ ایرین پیٹرسن کو مجرم قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا تھا کہ ’جان بوجھ کر قدم اٹھایا گیا اور وہ تین افراد کے قتل کی ذمہ دار ہیں۔‘ایرین پیٹرسن نے اس روز کھانے میں مختلف ڈشز بنائی تھیں۔ چند گھنٹے بعد ان کے ساس، سسر اور ان کی بہن ہیدر ونکسن کی طبعیت خراب ہوئی اور وہ جان سے گزر گئے جبکہ ہیدر ونکسن کے شوہر اور پڑوسی کو کئی ہفتے کی طبی امداد کے بعد بچا لیا گیا تھا تاہم وہ مکمل طور پر صحت مند نہیں ہو پائے۔
خبر رساں ادارے روئٹرز کے مطابق اس کے بعد ایرین پیٹرسن پر شک پیدا ہوا۔دو بچوں کی ماں ایرین نے جو کھانا بنایا تھا ان میں بیف، میش پوٹیٹوز اور سبز لوبیا کی ڈشز شامل تھیں، جن کے بارے میں بعدازاں انکشاف ہوا تھا کہ ان میں انتہائی زہریلے مشرومز کو ملایا گیا تھا۔
عدالت میں پراسیکیوٹرز کا کہنا تھا کہ ایرین پیٹرسن نے ’جان بوجھ کر‘ کھانے میں زہریلے مشروم ملائے۔
دوسری جانب ان کے وکیل نے دلائل میں اموات کو ایک ’خوفناک حادثہ‘ قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کی موکل نے گھبراہٹ میں پولیس کے سامنے اس لیے بار بار جھوٹ بولا کیونکہ وہ اس بات سے پریشان تھیں کہ شاید انہوں نے غلطی سے کھانے میں کوئی زہریلی چیز ملا دی ہے۔
آسٹریلوی قوانین کے مطابق جیوری میں شامل افراد کی شناخت ظاہر نہیں کی جاتی اور ان پر یہ پابندی ہے کہ وہ عدالت میں ہونے والے معاملات کو ظاہر نہ کریں حتیٰ کہ مقدمہ ہو جانے کے بعد بھی۔
سات جولائی کو موریل میں ہونے والی سماعت کے موقع پر عدالت نے چار الزامات پر مجرم قرار دیا تھا۔
اس سے قبل ایرن پیٹرسن کی جانب سے عدالت میں درخواست جمع کرائی تھی کہ انہوں نے یہ سب جان بوجھ نہیں کیا بلکہ حادثاتی طور پر ہوا۔ تاہم عدالت کی جانب سے اس کو مسترد کر دیا گیا تھا۔

80 سرکاری اسکولز 10 ستمبر تک بند
ڈپٹی کمشنر سیالکوٹ صبا اصغر علی نے کہا ہے کہ ضلع کے 80 سرکاری اسکولز بدستور 10 ستمبر تک بند رہیں گے۔

صبا اصغر علی نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ سیلابی پانی سے اسکولز متاثرہوئے ہیں کچھ میں پانی کھڑا ہے۔ اسکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے مراسلہ کی روشنی میں ضلع کے 80 سرکاری سکولز 10 ستمبر تک بند رہیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ تحصیل سیالکوٹ کے متعدد اسکولز 8 تا 10 ستمبر بند رہیں گے، تحصیل ڈسکہ اور پسرور کے سرکاری اسکولز بھی متاثرہ فہرست میں شامل ہیں۔ تحصیل سمبڑیال کے کئی سکولز میں بھی تدریسی عمل عارضی طور پر معطل رہے گا۔حکام نے سیلابی پانی سے اسکولز کے احاطے متاثر ہونے اور حفاظتی نقطہ نظر سے بندش ضروری قرار دیدیا، کہا والدین اور طلبہ تعاون کریں، بچوں کی سلامتی اولین ترجیح ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ نئے حکمنامے کا اطلاق صرف سرکاری اسکولوں پر ہوگا۔ ضلع کے تمام پرائیویٹ تعلیمی ادارے 5 ستمبر سے کھل چکے ہیں۔
