Okay, let's be honest. Freelancers are working with quite an effort just to survive properly in this country. It's not that people don't have skills. I know plenty of people in my circle who hold the amalgamation of skills but still fail to achieve tasks in freelancing. However, client dealing, and communication is a world in itself.

Raw material to final product involves different stages. Each stage involves different set of skills. Similarly in freelancing and business you have to polish each stage to provide a worthy content at the end.

So, don't just give up after working on something whose result isn't that good. Obviously there must be some step you are missing. Clearly you gotta find and work on that step to achieve fruitful result.

Planning -> Process Working -> Presentation -> Output. Lets keep this in mind to have a good output. Content creation follows the same sequence as well.

Don't take freelancing for granted.

A day past yesterday, I received a call from a bank employee. He was asking something regarding my fathers account. However, I knew the person so the conversation went into different zone. For instance, he asked me about what are you doing? I told him about Freelancing.

He asked about what is Freelancing and how exactly it is done. If I put the words as they were, it was like "Kitna kmaa lete ho? (How much do you earn". Now the thing is people in Pakistan take the freelance world for granted and think it could be done easily. He asked whether it could be learnt easily by watching just a video on YouTube. My reply was yes it could be but only if you put that to videos instead of video. Anyways I ended the conversation by telling him "daal roti chal jati hai". For, I don't have the stamina to persuade someone for the topic who is not even considering its power in reality.

"Actions does matter"

Anyone working as a self employed should read this thoroughly.

I've posted a comment on Sir Zeeshan Usmani video to provide the books material in English. I didn't think that it would initate a connection. Well, it started quite late but I received a message on WhatsApp from a random person that he wants to discuss about this matter. Generally I don't pick random calls unless I know about the reference but this time I was sitting, spending some spare time and improvised the rule. In short, the conversation initiated over a WhatsApp call 🤙 and began regarding the topic of the video. However, I didn't research further about the video topic so it didn't lead further in that zone but still the conversation continued...

Let me introduce the person on the other side. He lives in India and doing preparation of UPSC. He was asking me about the video topic as it was related to programming and he was considering to dig into the field.

I explained him about that the programming itself is another world, its not just something that could be prepared easily. You gotta do practice on daily basis to achieve something in this field. As the conversation continued he asked me several questions related to the programming to clear his confusions. I tried my best to clear each one. Later on the conversation shifted to the career selection and earnings topic which was quite a thing for me. As I didn't think of it that way. He was of the point that you are providing multiple services which is good nonetheless still it won't be an effective approach in a long run. Try to persuade in a particular field and give it a time and make sure to have clear mindset for that particular time. Once the time let's say 2 years is achieved you will be able to decide for continuing in that field or not. Decision will be yours but the time you spend in that field will definitely give you enough experience to opt that field and apply in MNC's to widen your scope.

The good part about his conversation was that he didn't try to oppose any of my idea but still persuaded me in clearing my mindset of how can I take an effective approach for continuing the career onwards.

I won't depict the name of the person but still it was a pleasure talking to him. The conversation I summarised here is still a small part of our conversation but I hope it would help you understand that actions does matter. So, keep on connecting with people to add value in your life. Take the positive outputs and then with your skills add value in the life of other people.
