“I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah and if you follow these, you will never go astray.”

This is a shortened version of the speech (from a movie), it is way longer than that! Keep that in mind.

Nearly 1500 years ago today, was the day (9th Dhul Hijjah) on Mount Arafat where our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) gave his final sermon, which signified the completion of the message that he was given by our Lord to convey to the whole of mankind for all of times. And upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:

“This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam for you as your religion” (Qur’an 5:3)

Use this day not only to pray for yourselves, but for every needy person, for every broken soul and for every heavy heart. Don’t forget our brothers and sisters. Pray for the rise of our Ummah again, pray for our fighters and for everyone who acts in the name of Allah swt. May we become an Ummah that the Prophet (ﷺ) can look at with a smile.
