The District Bar Association Sukkur in its meeting held 09-03-2022 presided by the President and General Secretary of
the DBA Sukkur and unanimously have shown grave concern over recent incidents took place with learned Senior Advocates namely Mr Suhbat Ali Joyo, Mr Noorddin Chohan and Mr Fareed Ahmed Soomro therefore the Lawyer community of district Sukkur feeling themselves insecure,

District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemned such act and demands from IG Sindh to look into matter and provide protection to the advocates and their
families as advocates are dealing high profile cases and needed full protection according to law.

As a protest the DBA Sukkur announces a full day strike call of Court Proceedings on tomorrow 10.03.2022. The learned advocates are requested not to attend the Court proceedings tomorrow.

District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemned strongly condemned the attacks upon Lawyers as earlier incident reported with senior advocate Mr Noordin Chohan and last night accused persons have attacked upon the house of Senior Advocate Freed Ahmed Soomro by opening fire arms,

It is reported that the FIRs are not registered nor any immediate action is taken by the concerned SHOs,

The District Bar Association Sukkur while recording its protest against failure of law enforcement agencies demands from DIG and SSP Sukkur an immediate and strict action against the culprits involved in brutal act and provide legal protection to the learned Advocates.

if the culprits of the above incident will not arrested, the DBA Sukkur will decide its future course of action.

District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemned the su***de attack in Peshawar inside a mosque during friday prayers, in which more than 50 worshipers embraced martyrdom while more than 200 others sustained injuries. The District Bar Association Sukkur demands from Government authorities to take strict measures to trap the terrorists of tragic incident.

The DBA Sukkur expresses solidarity and sympathy with members of bereaved families, and prayed Almighty Allah for resting the departed soul in eternal peace.

The District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemn the illegal act of SHO PS Rohri Abdul Hameed Mahar who has illegally harassed, humiliated and issued threats of dire consequences and alleging the false criminal cases on the Son of Advocate Sufizada Zaheer Muhammad Baber Vice President DBA Sukkur namely Shaheer Muhammad, who is student of intermediate,
as after issue of Learned Advocate Suhbat Ali Joyo, the SHO PS Rohri Abdul Hameed Mahar was annoyed and remained onesided in the matter so far.

Therefore the District Bar Association Sukkur while recording its protest against illegal act of SHO PS Rohri, does demands from DIG Sukkur an immediate action and transfer of SHO PS Rohri from Sukkur District and to provide legal protection to family members of Learned Vice President DBA Sukkur, otherwise the DBA Sukkur will decide its future course of action.

The District Bar Association Sukkur strongly condemned the incident reported in Nawab Wali Muhammad District Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), where Six people, including police SHO Hameed Khoso, were killed. The DBA Sukkur demands from concerned authorities to constitute an independent inquiry committee to probe into matter, and arrest the culprits involved in such incident.

The DBA Sukkur also strongly condemned the illegal raid/ invasion by Mirpur Ghotki Police at the house of Senior Advocate, Member Sindh Bar Council Mr Zulfiqar Ali Khan Jalbani and arrested his Brothers, The DBA Sukkur demands from authorities to immediately release the brothers of Senior Advocate Member SBC.

Therefore the DBA Sukkur announces a full day Strike on Monday 14-02-2022. All Learned Advocates are informed not to attend the Court Proceedings.

District Bar Association Sukkur expressed their serious concern over the misbehaviour of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jacobacabad Ghualm Ali Kanasri towards the leaned Member/Senior Advocate Mr.Shafqat Rahim Rajput.

As per decision of Sindh Bar Council, the District Bar Association Sukkur while marking its strong protest announced a full day strike / boycott of Courts proceedings throughout District Sukkur tomorrow on Wednesday i.e. 22.12.2021.
All the Learned Advocates are requested not to attend the Courts on 22.12.2021.

A joint meeting of Executive committee of DBA Sukkur under the chairmaship of President Shafqat Raheem Rajput and General Secretary Sunder Khan chachar was held on 10th December 2021 at DBA Sukkur in which discussed about the arrest of the murderers of Irfan Ali Mahar, Secretary Sindh Bar Council, it is very much clear the failure of Law Enforcement Agencies and In this regard DBA Sukkur demands from the I.G Sindh to assure about the arrest of the culprits earlier and also strongly condemned, the protest will be recorded at District Bar Association Sukkur at 11 am on 11th December 2021, all the Learned Members are requested to participate in protest, hence DBA Sukkur announced the full day Strike throughout the district i.e 11th December 2021.
