📝 پہلی جنگِ پانی پت —

پہلی جنگِ پانی پت برصغیر کی تاریخ کا ایک نہایت اہم واقعہ ہے، جو 21 اپریل 1526ء کو Panipat کے میدان میں لڑی گئی۔ اس جنگ نے نہ صرف دہلی سلطنت کا خاتمہ کیا بلکہ ایک نئی سلطنت، یعنی مغل سلطنت کی بنیاد بھی رکھی۔

اس جنگ کے دو اہم فریق تھے: ایک طرف دہلی کا سلطان Ibrahim Lodi تھا، جبکہ دوسری طرف وسط ایشیا سے آنے والا فاتح Babur تھا۔ ابراہیم لودھی ایک بہادر حکمران تھا، مگر اس کی حکومت اندرونی اختلافات اور کمزور حکمتِ عملی کی وجہ سے متاثر ہو رہی تھی۔ دوسری طرف بابر ایک ذہین، تجربہ کار اور جدید جنگی حکمت عملی رکھنے والا سپہ سالار تھا۔

ابراہیم لودھی کے پاس ایک بہت بڑی فوج تھی، جس میں ہزاروں سپاہی اور جنگی ہاتھی شامل تھے۔ اس کے برعکس بابر کی فوج تعداد میں کم تھی، لیکن وہ منظم، تربیت یافتہ اور جدید اسلحہ سے لیس تھی۔ خاص طور پر بابر کے پاس توپخانہ (آرٹلری) تھا، جو اس وقت برصغیر میں ایک نئی چیز تھی۔ اس کے علاوہ بابر نے "تُلُغما" جیسی جدید جنگی حکمت عملی بھی استعمال کی۔

جب جنگ کا آغاز ہوا تو بابر نے اپنی توپوں کا مؤثر استعمال کیا، جس کی گرج سے لودھی کی فوج میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا۔ جنگی ہاتھی بدک گئے اور فوج کی صفیں ٹوٹنے لگیں۔ نتیجتاً میدان جنگ میں افراتفری پھیل گئی اور ابراہیم لودھی کی فوج کمزور پڑ گئی۔ آخرکار ابراہیم لودھی بہادری سے لڑتے ہوئے مارا گیا۔

اس جنگ کے نتیجے میں بابر کو شاندار فتح حاصل ہوئی اور اس نے دہلی پر قبضہ کر لیا۔ یوں برصغیر میں مغل سلطنت کا آغاز ہوا، جو کئی صدیوں تک قائم رہی۔ پہلی جنگِ پانی پت نہ صرف ایک فوجی فتح تھی بلکہ اس نے برصغیر کی سیاسی، سماجی اور ثقافتی تاریخ کو بھی ایک نیا رخ دیا۔

آخر میں یہ کہا جا سکتا ہے کہ پہلی جنگِ پانی پت ایک فیصلہ کن معرکہ تھا، جس نے تاریخ کا دھارا بدل دیا اور ایک نئے دور کی بنیاد رکھی۔
