✈️🇮🇳 Air India Crash: Cockpit Confusion and Fuel Cutoff Led to Deadly Tragedy.

A preliminary investigation into last month’s Air India crash — the deadliest aviation accident in a decade — has revealed startling cockpit confusion moments before the crash that killed 260 people.

🛫 The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, bound for London from Ahmedabad, lost thrust shortly after takeoff as both engine fuel cutoff switches flipped simultaneously, starving the engines of fuel.

📹 CCTV showed a ram air turbine deploying, a sign of total engine failure.
🎙️ In the final seconds, one pilot asked: “Why did you cut the fuel?” — the other replied: “I didn’t.”

The cause of the fuel cutoff remains unclear, raising serious questions about aircraft design and safety protocols. The crash is also a major blow to Tata Group’s efforts to revive Air India.

🕊️ Commander Sumeet Sabharwal, 56, and First Officer Clive Kunder, 32, were at the controls.

📍 India’s AAIB is continuing its investigation. Air India says it is fully cooperating.

🌊 19-Year-Old Surfer Found Alive on Remote Island After Going Missing in NSW

Relief and joy for a NSW family after 19-year-old surfer Darcy Deefholts was found alive Thursday morning on North Solitary Island — about 8 miles from where his clothes and bike were discovered at Wooli Beach.

Darcy went missing Wednesday afternoon after heading out to surf. His disappearance sparked a large-scale land and sea search. Family feared the worst — until word came the next morning that he had been located, alive and safe.

His father, Terry, said he was “at the point of thinking the absolute worst” but never gave up hope.

Darcy is believed to have been swept far out to sea and took shelter on the island overnight. His family describes him as strong and resilient — and they’re calling his survival nothing short of a miracle.

A true story of endurance, hope, and the power of never giving up. 🙏💙

🚨 Gaza’s Largest Hospital on the Brink: Doctors Warn of Imminent Collapse at Nasser Medical Complex

Doctors at Gaza's largest functioning hospital, Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, are warning of an imminent humanitarian disaster. A critical fuel shortage and an intensified Israeli ground offensive have forced the hospital to stop admitting patients.

Israeli tanks advanced just 200 meters from the hospital, opening fire near displaced families and burning tents. Medical staff inside report working under gunfire with little to no warning — surrounded by chaos, short on supplies, and running out of fuel to keep life-saving equipment running.

“If power goes out, patients on ventilators will die,” doctors say. The hospital is now treating double its capacity, mainly trauma cases, including many children shot while trying to collect aid.

Despite international concern, aid remains limited and distribution slow. The disarmament of key hospital generators is expected within hours or days, risking countless lives.

This comes amid reports of airstrikes killing civilians and Hamas commanders, continued fighting, and stalled ceasefire talks.

“We are closer to death than life,” say doctors inside.
The world must not look away.

PKK Begins Disarmament in Northern Iraq, Marking Shift from Armed Struggle to Politics

Fighters from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) began laying down arms in a symbolic ceremony near Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, signaling the start of the group’s disarmament process after decades of conflict with Turkey. The move follows a renewed call by imprisoned PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan to abandon armed struggle in favor of democratic politics.

The PKK, once committed to forming an independent Kurdish state, has gradually shifted its goal toward seeking greater autonomy for Kurds within Turkey. The disarmament, expected to conclude by September, is seen as a key step in a broader peace process.

Iraqi Kurdish officials, Turkish intelligence representatives, and members of pro-Kurdish parties witnessed the ceremony.

🇪🇺🇮🇱🇵🇸 Israeli and Palestinian Ministers to Share Table in Brussels Amid EU Pressure on Tel Aviv

For the first time since the Gaza war began after the October 7 attacks, the foreign ministers of Israel and Palestine will be in the same high-level meeting — this Monday in Brussels.

The meeting, part of the EU-Southern Neighbourhood forum, comes just a day before EU ministers consider action against Israel for breaching its partnership agreement over the Gaza offensive and settler violence in the West Bank.

Both sides aim to press their cases: the Palestinian side will raise the ongoing humanitarian crisis and blocked funds, while Israel will face tough questions from European diplomats.

EU member states are weighing options — including suspending the EU-Israel Association Agreement.

Tensions are high, diplomacy is on edge.

🚀 China Makes Space History — and Raises Eyebrows

In a major leap for its space program, two Chinese satellites — Shijian-21 and Shijian-25 — have docked over 20,000 miles above Earth, possibly marking China’s first-ever satellite refueling test in geosynchronous orbit.

While Chinese authorities remain silent, satellite trackers confirm the two spacecraft merged in orbit, hinting at advanced space capabilities — and raising questions about their potential dual-use technology, including the ability to disable foreign satellites.

Is this a technological milestone or a strategic warning?

📡 A quiet maneuver with loud global implications.

After nearly four decades of conflict, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have met in Abu Dhabi to finalize a long-awaited peace agreement — without Russia at the table.

This is their first formal bilateral meeting since agreeing on a draft peace deal, marking a new chapter for the region. With Moscow sidelined due to its war in Ukraine, both Armenia and Azerbaijan are redefining their foreign ties — leaning toward diplomacy, not dependency.

Analysts call it a "surprising but real breakthrough" as both countries also make progress with Turkey, signaling a new regional order may be emerging.

Tragedy in Gaza: An Israeli airstrike on Thursday killed 10 children and six adults near a medical center in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, according to local health authorities. Verified footage shows the aftermath — bodies of children on a donkey cart, blood-stained streets, and cries of grief.

The Israeli military claims it targeted a militant involved in the October 7 attack, but admits civilians were likely caught in the blast. As ceasefire talks continue in Qatar with no immediate breakthrough, Gaza’s healthcare system teeters on collapse — doctors warn that newborns may die due to lack of incubators and fuel shortages.

International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Top Taliban Leaders.

In a historic move, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Taliban Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhunzada and Afghanistan's Chief Justice Abdul Hakim Haqqani over crimes against humanity — specifically, the persecution of women and girls since the Taliban seized power in 2021.

🇦🇫 Under Taliban rule, Afghan women have been stripped of their rights to education, movement, privacy, and even the freedom to speak.
🔇 Public stonings, forced dress codes, bans on women's voices, and arbitrary detentions are part of a brutal system of gender apartheid.
📚 Girls are banned from secondary education; women are barred from work and public life — even punished for being seen or heard.

The ICC also accuses the Taliban of targeting LGBTQ+ individuals and anyone seen as an ally of women’s rights.

⚖️ While these warrants mark a rare move toward accountability, human rights activists question the double standards — pointing out that Israeli PM Netanyahu also faces ICC charges for genocide in Gaza, yet no action has followed.
Does international justice only apply to the weak — not the powerful?

Nearly two years of relentless war has turned Gaza into rubble — yet the spirit of its people remains unbroken. 💔

As U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli PM Netanyahu revive talks of displacing 2.3 million Palestinians, voices from the ground in Gaza are clear and defiant: "We will not leave. This is our land."

Despite mounting casualties, destruction, and global pressure, Palestinians — many already refugees from 1948 — reject what they call a new wave of ethnic cleansing disguised as relocation.

The UN has raised serious concerns over the legality and morality of such plans. Egypt and Jordan have already rejected the proposal, joining human rights groups in condemnation.

🔴 Is this a peace plan — or a new face of forced exile?

Devastating Floods Ravage Texas: Over 90 Dead, Dozens Still Missing 🌊💔

Tragedy has struck Texas Hill Country as flash floods swept through the region, claiming the lives of at least 90 people, including 27 children at a summer camp along the Guadalupe River. Entire cabins were submerged as water rose to the height of a two-story building in mere hours.

🏕️ Camp Mystic in Kerr County was among the hardest hit, with search efforts still underway for missing children and staff.
📍 Kerr County alone has reported 75 fatalities, and emergency teams continue working day and night across multiple counties.
🚁 Swiftwater rescue operations are ongoing, with support from multiple states and federal assistance already deployed.

Texas Governor Abbott and President Trump have both declared a major disaster. The nation — and the world — is watching as the heart-wrenching rescue and recovery mission continues.
