Back home after wonderful days with TOCfe Japan & Wonderful evening in TOC Club Japan, Kyoto! I met great people applying critical thinking and open to learn about additional applications. I was honored to present “Roni’s thinking games” and to discuss the role of TOC in formal, informal and non-formal education – making TOC a main way in order to let more and more people and kids achieve the opportunity to have meaningful life. I truly believe living a full life is not a slogan, it can be a way of life. Using the TOC tools develop higher order thinking from early childhood and enable the users to take responsibility of their action. I am so excited and happy to share with you some of the feedback:
- If we utilize what we learned today, children would be able to think critically and try new challenges/possibilities.
- I understood better how to utilize TOC thinking to my real life
- I thought the content of this seminar is so useful for adults (especially for my subordinates/colleagues) as well as for children.
- I thought it is very important to think ‘Needs’ at first then think about the action that fulfill our Needs. By thinking like this, I felt excitement!

Coming soon!!! The “Roni wants or needs” card game invites the players to engage in a dialogue, and allows them to distinguish between wants and needs. A want is concerned with action – something that a person wants or does not want to do. A need is a reason that motivates us to action, and answers the question: “Why do we want or not want something?” The game encourages the players to find additional ways to realize their needs, and subsequently obtain more effective communication. For example, to realize my need for “fun,” I want to meet with my friends. Is there another way to realize the need for “fun?” Or, to realize my need for “success,” I want to join the football team. Is there another way to realize the need for “success?”

Summer vacation?? There are more and more opportunities to host: friends, cousins and occasional guests. We often teach our children to keep their privacy and personal space. It is also legitimate to allow them to keep their privacy with their toys. We invite you to watch (2 minutes) the chapter "A friend", an episode of "Roni's thinking games". By using "if & then" we can find more than one solution to any problem!
