To dość niezwykłe że w TOP 5 albumów 2021 według Welcome to the Morbid Blog, znajdują się 2 płyty nagrane u nas. Znakomite podsumowanie tego dość trudnego roku. Jedziemy dalej!!

Przyszedł czas na podsumowanie roku. Podjąłem wyzwanie wybrania pięciu płyt, które spodobały mi się najbardziej i które regularnie od ich wydania pojawiają się w moim odtwarzaczu. Wybór był niełatwy, ale po wielu trudach i przyjęciu bardzo subiektywnych kryteriów (wybierałem stricte pod swój własny gust), udało się. Także tak oto wygląda TOP 5 2021 wg Welcome to the Morbid Blog:
1. Beyond Time - "From the Vastness of the Universe" (Werewolf Prom) - Płyta miała sporą konkurencję, ale oczarowała mnie pod każdym możliwym względem.
2. Stormkeep - "Tales of Othertime" (Ván Records) - Niesamowity klimat i oryginalne połączenie melodyjnego black metalu z dungeon synthem.
3. Pandemic Outbreak - "Skulls Beneath the Cross" (Awakening Records) - Może pojadę tu ostrą herezją i na bank ktoś się do mnie przyczepi, ale Vader nie jest już dla mnie niezbędny. Ci Panowie przejmują pałeczkę.
4. Frightful - "Spectral Creator" (Awakening Records) - Świetny kawał oldschoolowego grania w wykonaniu młodej grupy. Ogromny potencjał, pasja i świadomość granej muzyki.
5. Graveland - "Hour of Ragnarok" (The Oath) - Graveland wciąż dowodzi pagan metalowym podziemiem i nie wychodzi z formy, a nawet otwiera nowy etap w swojej historii. Nigdy nie brzmiało to tak potężnie i epicko.

The time has come to sum up the year. I took up the challenge of choosing the five albums that I liked the most and which have appeared in my CD player regularly since their release. The choice was not easy, but after many troubles and adopting very subjective criteria (strictly to my own music taste), I have manged to deal with it. This is how the TOP 5 2021 looks like according to Welcome to the Morbid Blog:
1. Beyond Time - "From the Vastness of the Universe" (Werewolf Prom) - The album had a serious competition, but it charmed me in every possible way.
2. Stormkeep - "Tales of Othertime" (Ván Records) - Amazing atmosphere and original combination of melodic black metal with dungeon synth.
3. Pandemic Outbreak - "Skulls Beneath the Cross" (Awakening Records) - Maybe I will go here with some severe heresy and someone will seriously argue with me, but Vader is not necessary for me anymore. These gentlemen are taking the scene.
4. Frightful - "Spectral Creator" (Awakening Records) - A great piece of oldschool music performed by a young group. Huge potential, passion and awareness of the music they are creating.
5. Graveland - "Hour of Ragnarok" (The Oath) - Graveland still commands the pagan metal underground and still has something to say in their art. The band even opens a new chapter in its history. It has never sounded so powerful and epic.

Welcome Frightful to the roster of Awakening Records!

POLISH UNDERGROUND METAL ATTACK!!

In December 2016, Paweł Snarski, Krzychu Pochranowicz, and Oskar Wańka created FRIGHTFUL. In 4 months, under the influence of w**d and cheap wine, they wrote their first EP entitled "Born after Burial". Their concert debut took place at the "Paszcza Lwa" club on 12th July 2017. Rest of 2017 they spent on promoting themselves to start touring more often. 2018 was full of concerts, parties, and spreading info about their death metal militia. Also, in 2018 EP "Cannibalistic Rites" was released.

2019 was exactly like last year. Concerts, parties, and another release. Three track demo that was recorded live, includes a cover (DISSECTION - Son of the Mourning), called "Astral Freeze" which was released in November 2019. The year 2020 was terrible, like for all bands because of COVID-19, so they play only 3 concerts in the whole year. The best thing in this isolation was creating a totally new, more technical, and better material, and also welcomed new guitarist Menzello Gonzalez (Pandemic Outbreak).

Now, they've created their first full-length album and will release it via Awakening Records! Stay tuned for more information.

Właśnie otrzymaliśmy plakat promujący nasze wydawnictwo w Awakening Records. Płyty otrzymamy dopiero przed połową lipca, więc musicie się jeszcze uzbroić w cierpliwość. Będzie również mocno ograniczona p**a naszywek. Pracujemy również nad t-shirtami oraz longsleevami z grafiką wydawnictwa.

At this moment, we received a poster promoting our record in Awakening Records, China. We will receive CD's in the middle of July so patience will be necessary. There will be a limited amount of the patches. We are working on t-shirts and longsleeves.
