Alpha Centauri Outpost (6988) is a space base from the Blacktron II series, released in 1991. It consists of 372 pieces and includes five astronaut minifigures.

The main feature of the set is the base with a landing pad, built on two baseplates, equipped with modern computer systems, antennas, and radars. The set also includes a large spaceship with a detachable command module and a small ground vehicle. The base is equipped with a 9V Electric System.

The alternate model (Back A), Sirius Station, is also a base, albeit slightly smaller. However, it is very well-designed and can serve as an additional set on any Lego Space layout. The station features a glass-enclosed main module and two additional modules placed above it. On the sides, two large antenna arrays are mounted. A small scout ship with a storage compartment located behind the pilot completes the set.

There’s never too much construction equipment in BrickTown ;) Here’s our latest MOC - a dump truck. Typically, vehicles of this type are yellow, so we decided to bring a splash of color to the city.

This white, six-wheeled vehicle features an orange dump bed and colorful accents on the cab. It’s built from 57 pieces. A shovel and broom are mounted on the sides of the cab, making it much easier to keep the truck clean. Additionally, a special bar holds a set of warning lights.

Any guesses where the engine vent brick just below the windshield comes from? ;)

Today marks the official start of the long-awaited reconstruction of the road connecting the city center directly to the airport. As a result, heavy construction equipment has rolled into BrickTown.

The backhoe loader from the set Backhoe (6662) from 1992 has been working diligently. It consists of 79 pieces and is equipped with extra lights above the windshield for better visibility as well as two hydraulic stabilizers behind the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from shifting during heavy work.

We’ll keep you updated on the progress!

Here is an alternative build for the Fire Breathing Fortress (6082) set from 1993. The original set, part of the Dragon Knights series, includes 375 pieces and six minifigures.

The alternative construction, Magisto’s Twisted Tower (Back D), is also based on the characteristic raised baseplate, which was unique to this set. Rare elements include arches and panels with yellow dragon patterns.
This alternative model is a much taller structure, topped with Magisto’s wizard tower. A series of narrow, winding stairs leads up to it. Inside the tower is a magical orb, which is why the building is well protected - including by a dragon living in a cave beneath the castle.

This castle is a great option for expanding a classic castle collection. The design is cohesive and well-crafted, making it blend seamlessly with other sets 🙂

What if Lego re-released modern sets but redesigned to look like 90s Town sets? Here is one possible answer 😉

This MOC created by Karst86 is a perfect example. Behold the Helicopter Transporter (7686) rebuilt in the style of classic Town sets! It consists of 235 pieces and includes a six-wheeled truck with a trailer for transporting a helicopter and the helicopter itself.

Metro PD Station (6598) is a 1996 set, composed of 515 pieces and featuring eight minifigures.

The building itself is very modern, with large windows adding a touch of elegance. On the ground floor is a public service hall, while above are detective offices and a command center for mobile units. The set also includes a motorboat, a prisoner transport van, two motorcycles, and a helicopter.

Right next to the station is a jail - and rumor has it, someone might be able to escape... 😉

Today, we present another set featured in the Idea Book series. Once again, we take a look at issue No. 250 from 1987. The featured model appears on page 43.

It is a four-wheeled cargo wagon pulled by a white horse. The wagon consists of about 40 pieces. There is also a seat for the driver - who is a representative of the Crusaders faction. Right behind the seat, there is a cargo compartment with three bales of hay.

This set can be an interesting additional element for existing dioramas! 😊

Memories! Today it's time for another nostalgic ad - this time we're heading back to 1989. The clip showcases the debut of the brand-new Lego Pirates series.

In the opening seconds, we see LEGO characters - a pirate and an imperial soldier - gradually emerging from a scattered pile of bricks. Moments later, two iconic ships take shape: the Caribbean Clipper (6274) and the Black Seas Barracuda (6285). A fierce battle begins between them, which, unfortunately, doesn’t end well for one of the minifigures. In the closing scene, we also catch a glimpse of other sets like the Eldorado Fortress (6276) and Shipwreck Island (6260).

What happened to that minifigure? See for yourself! 😉

Here it is! The Mega Core Magnetizer (6989) is the flagship set of the M-Tron series, released in 1990. It consists of 473 pieces and includes three astronaut minifigures.

The vehicle functions as a mobile operations base for the M-Tron team. Mounted on six massive wheels, it allows for transport, repairs, and storage of equipment and cargo. One of its most distinctive features is the crane with a magnet, mounted on a rotating turret at the rear of the vehicle. It can lift and transport containers (also seen in other M-Tron sets) as well as smaller vehicles. A standout detail is the cockpit with a trans-neon-green canopy that fits all three minifigures.

The set also includes two small rovers and a small flying craft, which can be stored in the rear section of the vehicle.

Have you ever wondered what a modern version of the Jetport Fire Squad (6440) set might look like? This MOC by Redness is the answer!

The first thing that stands out is the new color scheme - the vehicle is now yellow. Smooth roof panels have been added above the driver's cab, and the water cannon has been moved slightly toward the back. The updated version also doesn’t include the original's distinctive Electric System module.

The wheels have been changed, and fenders added, giving the vehicle the look of more recent sets.
