Today, an emergency drill was held at BrickTown Airport. An aircraft from set 6396 (International Jetport) experienced a navigation system failure. As a result, all services - the fire brigade, airport security, police, and ambulance - were placed on high alert within minutes.

Units were deployed at the airport entrance and around the runway. Approximately 20 minutes after the report, the aircraft began its landing approach. The pilot had to rely heavily on his experience. The emergency services were fully prepared, and fortunately, the landing went safely.

This was the first drill at the airport, but it showed that our services can respond instantly in an emergency situation.

This evening at the BrickTown harbor, the well-known Hydro Racer (6537) from 1994 was back in action. This small set from the Race series, made up of 44 pieces and one minifigure, remains popular despite its age.

The black, twin-engine watercraft is surprisingly large - almost the size of a speedboat! It’s a regular sight on the town’s waters, always drawing attention. Meanwhile, new color variants are already in the works at the workshop, and it looks like BrickTown’s first jet ski race is just around the corner!

This morning, the residents of BrickTown once again saw the well-known Recycle Truck (6668) in action. This classic 1992 set, made up of 105 pieces, continues to keep the city clean as always.

The red-and-white truck is equipped with a mechanism that allows the rear container, located just behind the driver’s cabin, to be raised and lowered. A broom and shovel, mounted on the left side of the vehicle, help keep everything tidy.

At one point, another garbage truck joined the Recycle Truck - the one from set 6693. Which one do you like better? 😉

Small but sturdy! Here's a yellow backhoe that's over 30 years old but still looks great. It helps out with daily work in BrickTown 😉

This is the Backhoe (6662) set from 1992. It consists of 79 pieces and includes one minifigure. The vehicle is a yellow backhoe loader, equipped with extra lighting above the front windshield to assist with work, and two special hydraulic stabilizers behind the rear wheels that prevent the vehicle from moving during heavy-duty tasks.

Here’s a police duo from the Speed Trackers set (6625) released in 1996 — a pursuit car and a motorcycle. The set includes 49 pieces and comes with two officers onboard. This is a next-generation vehicle from the Police series, recognizable by its updated decal style.

The car features a low profile, a panoramic windshield, and widely spaced wheels, which give it great speed and excellent road grip. Just below the rear window, an additional megaphone has been installed.

The photo session also included the police car from the Night Patroller set. At first glance, it’s clear that both vehicles were made for dynamic chases 🙂

We are taking a look at the BrickTown International Airport, named after Ole Kirk Christiansen (code CLLT), which welcomed its first passengers a few months ago! Our airport is built from the International Jetport (6396) set from 1990. It consists of 463 elements and includes 8 minifigures.

As you can see, the entire building looks modern, especially the large glass facade, behind which is the main terminal. Next to it stands the control tower, equipped with an antenna and a radar. Nearby, there is also a joint fire department unit - both city and airport.

Passengers are very satisfied with the professional service - check-in and security procedures run smoothly, and all flights operate without delays. The number of travelers is constantly increasing, so it is already certain that we will soon add another runway 🙂

We present another custom MOC - a refined version of our Land Rover, this time in a firefighting edition.

The model consists of about 70 pieces and represents a classic red-and-white off-road vehicle equipped with gear essential for any firefighting mission. On the sides, there is a hook and a walkie-talkie, while behind the driver's cab there's space for an air tank, allowing operations even in heavy smoke conditions.

Another cement mixer has arrived in our city! We’re talking about the Cement Mixer (6682) set from 1985, which consists of 79 elements and one minifigure. All thanks to numerous investments in the city, including the construction of new roads.

This is a six-wheeled white-and-blue truck with off-road tires. To facilitate maneuvering in tight construction sites, there's an articulation joint right behind the driver’s cab. A large concrete mixer mounted at the back allows for efficient work on new structures.

After a quick photo session, the driver headed off to the next job! 😊

BrickTown isn’t just about cars - it’s also about water sports 🙂 Here’s one of the jet skis from our town: Water Jet (6517) from 1996. The set consists of 23 pieces and also includes a minifigure.

In the photos, we can also see two twin jet skis from the Wave Jump Racers set (6334), which stand out with their sporty, dynamic design. Our water sports enthusiasts had a little race and even performed a few small stunts. One thing is certain - all three had a great time, and that’s what matters most!

Here is our next MOC - the Ice Cream Van, which is a continuation of our winter project. The vehicle consists of 73 parts.

The white-and-blue van is styled after a classic 1980s vehicle. On the left side, there is a serving window with a counter mounted underneath. Inside, there is a lidded freezer and a machine for serving two-flavor soft-serve ice cream.

Here is the Cargomaster Crane (6352) from 1991 – a unique set originally designed as a prototype for the M-Tron series. It consists of 132 pieces and includes one minifigure.

The set features a mobile crane and a small blue tractor with a transport frame for carrying containers. The crane is equipped with extendable stabilizers that ensure balance when lifting heavy loads. Interestingly, unlike most LEGO models, this crane does not have a separate driver's cabin – the operator controls it directly from the crane cabin, giving it a distinctive look.

Today, on the side streets near the airport, a plane from the Turbo Prop I set (6687) from 1987 landed. It consists of 62 pieces and includes two minifigures - a pilot and an air traffic controller.

It’s a medium-sized red and white propeller aircraft equipped with two turboprop engines. It features an opening roof that allows the pilot easy access to the cockpit. There are navigation lights on the wings - red and green. It’s the perfect aircraft for short-distance travel.

Perhaps this marks the beginning of a trend for private planes in BrickTown 🙂
