Miesiąc temu w Muzeum Śląskim odbyła się organizowana przez TUV NORD Polska dwudniowa konferencja AI: Biznes Jutra. Miesiąc to w niezwykle dynamicznym świecie AI niemal jak rok; 😉 w tym czasie Google zaprezentował choćby masę nowości podczas konferencji I/O 2025 (ulepszone Gemini 2.5, generator wideo Veo 3 i multimodalny asystent Project Astra), Anthropic swoje modele Claude 4 (w tym Claude Opus 4 i Claude Sonnet 4), a bardziej lokalnie - pojawiły się nowe wersje Bielika. Trudno za tym wszystkim nadążyć, niemniej jednak trzeba próbować, co z pewnością czynią zarówno prelegenci występujący na konferencji, jak i wszyscy słuchacze. Kaktusowa filmowa relacja z tego wydarzenia już jakiś czas temu została opublikowana przez organizatora, a dziś pojawia się i tutaj. A month ago, the Silesian Museum hosted a two-day AI: Business of Tomorrow conference organized by TUV NORD Polska. A month is almost like a year in the extremely dynamic world of AI; 😉 during this time, Google presented a lot of new products during the I/O 2025 conference (improved Gemini 2.5, Veo 3 video generator and multimodal assistant Project Astra), Anthropic presented its Claude 4 models (including Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4), and more locally - new versions of Bielik appeared. It is difficult to keep up with it all, but you have to try, which is certainly done by both the speakers at the conference and all the listeners. Made by Kaktus.studio video report from this event was published by the organizer some time ago, but today it appears here. Those who were not there or did not see it - can take in a bit of the atmosphere and... be tempted to attend the next edition next year?!

These are cyclical meetings dedicated to various industries, including medical, food, automotive, information security and welding, during which participants not only acquire knowledge from speakers, but also exchange their own experiences. An additional advantage is also the attractive locations in various parts of Poland, such as Kudowa-Zdrój, Szczawnica, Gdańsk, Toruń, Łódź and many others.

Wow, tego chyba nie spodziewał się nikt! W niecałe dwa miesiące po ogłoszeniu bety wersji 20, która swoją drogą zawiera naprawdę masę nowości, po wypuszczeniu w międzyczasie trzech poprawek Blackmagic Design ogłosił dziś, że wersja stabilna DaVinci Resolve 20 jest już gotowa do pobrania! Zazwyczaj ten proces trwał znacznie dłużej, bo poprzednie wersje stabilne ogłaszano gdzieś w lipcu lub sierpniu. Z pewnością tempo prac związanych z wszelkiego rodzaju poprawkami do zgłaszanych błędów musiało być niesamowite! Update, zarówno w wersji free jak i Studio jest darmowy.

Wow, this was really unexpected! Less than two months after announcing the beta of version 20, which by the way contains a ton of new features, after releasing three patches in the meantime, Blackmagic Design announced today that the stable version of DaVinci Resolve 20 is ready for download! Usually this process took much longer, because the previous stable versions were announced somewhere in July or August. The pace of work related to all kinds of fixes to reported bugs must have been incredible! The update, both in the free version and Studio, is free.

W takich warunkach praca to prawdziwa przyjemność! W dniach 7-8 maja we wnętrzach Muzeum Śląskie w Katowicach miała miejsce organizowana przez TUV NORD Polska konferencja AI: Biznes Jutra. Lista prelegentów m. in. z Dr Maciejem Kaweckim, Maciejem Krystianem Szymańskim, Daiji Kimurą, Tomaszem Smoleńskim, dr Maciejem Chrzanowskim, Adrianem Stelmachem i wieloma innymi ekspertami branży AI robiła niesamowite wrażenie! Sztuczna inteligencja(?), rola danych, modele językowe (w tym oczywiście Bielik), AI Act, wpływ na rynek pracy i potrzebne kompetencje, przykłady wdrożeń i wiele wiele więcej. Chętnie posłuchałoby się wszystkich prelekcji od deski do deski, ale gdzieś w międzyczasie trzeba było jednak łapać kadry i nagrać kilka wywiadów, które ostatecznie złożą się na relację wideo z wydarzenia. 😉

In such conditions, work is a real pleasure! On May 7-8, the AI: Business of Tomorrow conference organized by TUV NORD Polska took place in the interiors of the Silesian Museum in Katowice. The list of speakers, including Dr. Maciej Kawecki, Maciej Krystian Szymański, Daiji Kimura, Tomasz Smoleński, Dr. Maciej Chrzanowski, Adrian Stelmach and many other AI industry experts, was incredibly impressive! Artificial intelligence (?), the role of data, language models (including Bielik, of course), AI Act, the impact on the labor market and necessary competences, implementation examples and much, much more. I would have gladly listened to all the lectures from start to finish, but somewhere in the meantime I had to catch frames and record a few interviews, which will ultimately make up the video coverage of the event. 😉

So, DaVinci Resolve 20! AI, AI, and more AI...
