Pop/Review YaYa Whatever - Boy Drama

YaYa Whatever embodies the devil-may-care attitude of rock and roll mixed with the lush synths of electro-pop/dark wave. YaYa is a prolific singer/songwriter turned electric ALT-POP performer rocking with her band and using her intimate yet powerful voice to enrapture all who see her live. Based in LA but born in Chicago, YaYa Whatever has been inspired by her piano and nomadic spirit to craft fearlessly personal songs that are meant to capture the heartache of the human experience we all share.

Pop/Review Ohnoah - FMU

For Ohnoah, songwriting has never been a choice but a matter of pure survival. At the age of 17, they escaped a destructive home. Growing up non-binary and q***r within a macho North African/Italian culture meant facing a total lack of acceptance, both at home and at school. They processed their trauma into melodies, building a home for themselves when the world didn't offer one. They aren't interested in making pain look pretty; they just want to tell the truth.

Rock/Review Magenta Ray - A Kiss Like This

Magenta Ray plays female-fronted original music with full-spectrum vocals and guitar-driven rock. The music's moody edges with mystical overtones bring in a cinematic sensuality. Founding members and writing duo Lisa Hart (vocals and lyrics) and Mark Larson (guitar and producer) started out their musical coupling with experimental electronic fusion. Bringing their sound to life on stage, they are joined by talented band members Alan Parks (bass), Joe Shotwell (drums), and Frank Acosta (guitar and violin).
