As we step into a new year, Trumindz Records is unlocking something buried deep in the underground. A long-lost 1997 cassette-only release, Verbal Tactics by Taleeb, an underground voice from Columbus, Ohio, finally resurfaces in a remastered edition, enriched with bonus tracks.

Entirely produced by local legend Prime, aka The Talented Mr. Lindsey — a name earned, not given — a master of gritty boom bap with a smooth Midwest edge.

This is not a polished museum piece. It’s a hidden regional artifact, preserved on tape, echoing with street wisdom and late-night paranoia — a record that was never meant for the masses, but demands to be heard.
