[ENG⬇️] W dorosłym życiu na weselu byłem chyba 2 razy. Jakoś zawsze byłem w pracy. ALE. Już niebawem idę na weselko prywatnie. I co? I się nawet cieszę, a nawet to jest mało powiedziane. U tych Państwa o tu wyżej, to już prawie było jak w gościach także okres przygotowawczy trwa, a ja odliczam dni. Tymczasem film nowy całkiem spoko, a oni to jeszcze bardziej.

In my adult life, I think I've only been to a wedding like twice. Work always seemed to get in the way. BUT! Very soon I'm heading to one purely for fun, and to say I'm looking forward to it is an understatement. Honestly, hanging out with these two up there already felt like visiting close friends, so the countdown is officially on while I get ready. In the meantime, their new movie is pretty cool, but they're even cooler.

[PL ⬇️] Let’s be honest, a wedding like this isn't something you just tuck away in a drawer. There aren't drawers big enough for that. A wedding like this is a coffee table book (yep, I only recently learned those exist and even bought one about guitars myself) - it's all about putting it on display. And not on some hidden shelf in the hallway, but right in the center of the living room where nobody can miss it. I’ve seen my fair share on this wedding beat, but even I found myself raising an eyebrow a few times. Just take a look for yourself. Right? Exactly. No explanation needed. I’m in my absolute element with weddings like these -like a duck to water. Anytime, anywhere, especially on February 14th.

No tego ślubu to przecież do szuflady się nie da schować. Nie ma takich szuflad. Takie śluby to jak coffe table book (ehe, niedawno się dowiedziałem, że istnieją i nawet kupiłem jeden o gitarach), czyli ekspozycja przede wszystkim. I to nie gdzieś półeczka w przedpokoju tylko w salonie i to właśnie tak żeby nie przeoczyć. Ja już trochę widziałem na tym ślubnym padole, ale tym razem nawet mnie kilka razy brew powędrowała ku górze. No sam sobie zobacz. No? No właśnie. Nic nie trzeba było tłumaczyć. Jak ryba w wodzie, a dzik w lesie, to ja w takie śluby. Wszędzie, zawsze, a tym bardziej 14stego lutego.

[ENG⬇️] I kolejny rok leci na ślubach, już nawet tych lat nie liczę. Słaby jestem w kalkulacje, a w upały jeszcze gorszy, a był to rekordowy weekend chociaż my zaczęliśmy w piątek. Pewien lekarz co mu dzieci wyszły nieźle, śpiewał kiedyś 'Nie pij Piotrek, nie pij w piątek - piątek zły jest na początek', ale nie było żadnego Piotrka. Był Wiktor i była Maria. Inny artysta rok po moich urodzinach śpiewał "Friday I'm in Love!". I znów bym zacytował, o królewskiej parze tym razem z filmu, ale może dość cytatów - skupmy się na faktach. A ja fakty zapisuję na filmie, a film owy oddaję na Wasze ekrany. Kto czyta opisy i ogląda do końca, może dodać komentarz z emoji alpaki, będę na przyszłość wiedział komu to piszę. Buziaczky.

And another year goes by doing weddings. I’ve honestly lost count at this point. I’m terrible at math, and even worse in this heat, and boy, was this a record-breaking weekend, even though we kicked things off on Friday. Some rock legends once sang that they had "Friday on my mind" to get through the week, but there was no Monday-to-Friday grind here. Just Wiktor and Maria. Another artist, a year after I was born, sang "Friday I'm in Love!". I could drop another quote here about a royal couple - from a movie this time but hey, enough with the quotes, let’s stick to the facts. And I capture those facts on film, and that very film is now hitting your screens. YES you can get married on a golf course [ENG ⬇️] Co tu się nie działo to łatwiej by było napisać niż to co się działo. Oho. Ale nie na siłę byle odfajkować, tylko takie było flow, a flow to dobre słowo bo koleguje się z Aloha. A Aloha była i była Hula i Siva Afi i Chee Hoo co wyskakiwało zza rogu, ale też Krakowiak (jeden, ale nie tylko) i chleb z solą po naszemu, golf i już wymieniać nie mam siły bo się zmęczyłem. Co oni z tym ogniem to sami zobaczcie, a jak pytałem jak się tego uczą to mi mówią, że ich mama jak byli mali to wsadzała im nogi do wulkanu na Hawajach. Mi po sankach mama wsadzała nogi do miski z ciepłą wodą, może dlatego mam inne talenty. Amerykański luz to nie żaden mit- to fakt, a co najfajniesze - to że nam tu w Polsce coraz rzadziej go brakuje.

[ENG] Honestly, it’d be easier to list what didn't happen here. What a ride! And it wasn’t just checking off boxes – it was flow. And 'flow' is the word of the day because it’s basically cousins with 'Aloha.' We had it all: Aloha spirit, Hula, Siva Afi, and 'Chee Hoo!' echoing around every corner. But we also had the Krakowiak (at least one!), the traditional Polish bread and salt, some golf... I’m getting tired just listing it all.

As for the fire – just see for yourselves. When I asked how they learned to do that, they told me their mom used to dip their feet in Hawaiian volcanoes when they were kids. My mom just put my feet in a bowl of warm water after a day of sledding, so I guess that explains my different set of talents. That 'American chill' isn’t a myth—it’s a fact. And the best part? We’re definitely catching that same vibe here in Poland more and more.
