ISO 66666 – The New Standard for ISO Girls Officially Approved!
Geneva, April 1, 2025 – The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), known for setting standards for everything from screws to quality management systems, has officially introduced a new standard for… young girls.
The new standard, ISO 66666, has been designed to formalize the style, behavior, and cultural presence of a group previously known under various names: “basic girl,” “TikTok girl,” “bad girl,” or even “mean girl.” With this introduction, instead of viewing them as an undefined social phenomenon, they can now be recognized as a cohesive group – ISO Girls.
Who Are ISO Girls?
ISO Girls are individuals who stand out in society through a specific set of traits. They are often characterized by:
• Bold makeup (not necessarily every day, but when they do, they go all out).
• Diverse hairstyles – from natural waves to meticulously straightened hair, and even daring colors.
• Piercings and jewelry – nose, eyebrow, or ear piercings are almost mandatory.
• A varied wardrobe – sometimes bold outfits, sometimes casual, but always with a sense of the day’s energy.
• Strong perfume scents – often to the limits of social tolerance, but always distinctive.
• A specific social dynamic – balancing between being “queens of life” and figures who command respect, envy, or even fear.
ISO Girls have often been labeled by so-called sigma individuals, who saw them as a threat to their own way of being. Critics frequently pointed out that ISO Girls possess an undefined yet magical pattern that makes others either want to join them or feel socially downgraded in their presence.
ISO 66666 – Standardizing a New Reality
ISO has decided to formally recognize this phenomenon to:
1. Facilitate interactions – from now on, outsiders can better understand the rules and dynamics of this group.
2. Reduce unnecessary tensions – if everyone acknowledges that the ISO Girl style is a recognized standard, fewer people will feel the need to attack or criticize it.
3. Increase participation – those who wish to join this energy but don’t know how will now have official guidelines on appearance and behavior.
The number 66666 is not accidental – it ironically references how ISO Girls have often been portrayed by critics as “bad,” “toxic,” or “manipulative.” The new standard, however, rejects these negative connotations and recognizes that their way of being is simply part of a larger social puzzle.
What’s Next?
ISO 66666 is just the beginning. The organization has already announced possible expansions to the standard, including:
• ISO 66666-1: A styling and makeup handbook for aspiring ISO Girls.
• ISO 66666-2: Rules for communication and social interactions in school environments and beyond.
• ISO 66666-3: Protocols for handling criticism and jealousy from others.
Does this mean that everyone will now have to conform to ISO 66666? Of course not – ISO standards are never mandatory. But for those who want to play by the new rules, this opens the door to a world that was previously informal and chaotic.
Will ISO Girls change the world? Possibly. But one thing is certain – their existence is now officially recognized, and there’s no turning back.
