This is my first release after 2 long years in which I was stuck in a creative hole. "Happy Little Thing" I started producing around this time last year, and have regularly played and tested it in clubs since October last year. Pierce Treude and I then produced the second track, "Happy Little Reunion Thing". It is based on "Happy Little Thing, but has become completely different. The really crazy thing is that we have never been together in the studio until this release, although we have been friends for 30 years and - sometimes more, sometimes less - are musical companions. I still know how to get to know Pierce in 1995 on the way to Raver's Beach in Croatia, where we both played. Or how we made the Popkomm in Cologne unsafe at the time, and how he stayed at my parents house for a couple of days. This is all a long time ago ... and I'm curious to see what the future will bring.

Nice....in future I will only DJ using the Spotify Mix Mode. Makes things so much easier. Finally I can do some sexy dancing behind the decks - topless and without this annoying headphones thing.

I made this track with my friend Pierce. It's based on my "Happy Little Things"-track, but it's different. It's more hypnotic and doesn't have quite the retro feel that my original version has.
