The 24th Great Dragon Parade (Wielka Parada Smoków), known this year as the Małopolska Royal Spectacle on the Vistula (Małopolskie Królewskie Widowisko na Wiśle), took place in Kraków on Saturday, 7th June 2025.

The finale was a stunning performance of Carmina Burana, by the Kraków Opera choir, set against floating dragons and fireworks.

It's that time of year again when dragon’s roam the city.
The 26th Great Dragon Parade (Wielka Parada Smoków) takes place this weekend.

This year, the Małopolska Royal Spectacle on the Vistula takes on a new format with live music, dancers and more.

The City President, Aleksander Miszalski, is holding an online 'dialogue bench' session at 6pm today, (7.5.25), as part of his 'Dialogue Bench' („ławce dialogu”) sessions, offering residents the chance to ask questions and raise issues.

The meetings are held in city districts and online.

PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING THE FIRST EVER KRAKÓW CELTIC FESTIVAL

The first ever Kraków Celtic festival takes place this September at Dworek Białoprądnicki and venues across Kraków.

The festival will be a celebration of Celtic culture, with music, dancing, workshops, presentations and more.

It is free to attend and suitable for all ages.

We’re holding pre-festival events and performances celebrating Celtic nations and regions, before the main event. We’ve already held Scottish and Irish music, dancing and poetry events, with a St. Erwans Breton) Evening later this month. (details coming soon)

We need your help to make the festival happen.

On Thursday 10th April, at 6 p.m., a “Scottish evening” of poetry reading by Scottish artist Gerda Stevenson along with a mini-concert by Lindsay Davidson, on Scottish bagpipes! Will take place at Massolit Books & Café Felicjanek 4, Kraków.

Gerda Stevenson will read from "QUINES - Poems in Tribute to Women of Scotland", Lindsay Davidson will perform music on Scottish bagpipes.

☘️ Happy St. Patrick's Day 🍀
To mark the occasion, the Kraków Celtic Festival team are holding an evening of Celtic music and dance, with a combined Irish Céilí and Scottish Cèilidh, on Saturday, 22nd March, at 6pm, at Dworek Białoprądnicki.

Irish and Scottish dancing will be led by the Comhlan dance group, with drums, bagpipes and music from Kraków Céilí Band.
It's going to be a great night, come and join us! 🇨🇮 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
