“When I left my record label, they thr£atened me & said I will never make a hit song again. They messaged so many industry stakeholders including artistes and said negative things about me to them.

I want to appreciate Tiwa coz she ignored all the side talks about me and decided to jump on my song. I contacted her around when she was shooting her movie ‘Water & Garri’… she was very busy at that time but she made out time to record & send her verse and guess what ??? Tiwa didn’t ask a dime!!

Even when we got to the video shoot, I had already budgeted to pay for her appearance but she declined saying ‘Nah! My boy count this as my Christmas gift to you!’ Omo, I nofit shout. I love that woman. God Bless her ”

In an interview with Million Dollar Worth Of Game Podcast,Davido shared:

My dad built me Nigeria's best studio. Top artists like Wizkid and D'banj would come to record there.

The studio was only open every two weeks. I'd come home, and everyone would gather. Interestingly, I wasn't recording my own music then; I was learning sound engineering.

I would offer suggestions on singing hooks, and my friends noticed my talent. They urged me to try recording, but I was hesitant, focusing on school. Eventually, I gave in, and my first song became a hit.

Timaya, has claimed that veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem is not respected within the music industry because he’s a talkative.

Featuring in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Timaya downplayed the host’s attempt to compare his personality with Abdulkareem’s.

The host: “You and Eedris Abdulkareem are among the artists that people are mostly afraid of picking a fight with.”

Timaya inferred: “I don’t talk like Eedris. I don’t behave like him…. Nobody is afraid of him because he talks too much. He has always been a talkative.

“I don’t even want people to be afraid of me. I respect myself so that people will respect me.”

On his relationship with Eedris Abdulkareem, he said, “I have never had any problem with Eedris. It was just a relationship of the boss and apprentice. Davido’s Father Dr Deji Adeleke is set to supply electricity to over 50 million Nigerians by January . He has invested over 314 billion Naira on the project .

His Goal is for Nigerians to have Stable electricity and at a cheaper cost . Looks like everyone from this family has a great heart . They are always thinking of helping others . He also spoke of a minister who denied the investment but guess what ? He went down on his knees and prayed and everything turned around .

Moral lesson : If the rich still pray, who are you to doubt God? I declare open doors to all of you reading this . Amen 🙏
