If you’re in Warsaw today, make sure to go to the Old Town. Today we’re celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the old town being rebuilt. The Muzeum Warszawy has a robust program in several different languages. Plus, concerts for free for the public. If you happen to see the American, In Poland crew, don’t forget to say 👋 hi!

Here are some shots from a city break taken yesterday. Just a half an hour east of are little villages that offer ideal landscapes for walks, relaxation, fresh air, and plenty of opportunities for photography. You’ll find little houses on plots of land called ”działka,” where people come to garden, grill, relax, and spend time with their families. Half the fun of going to a działka is walking around and looking at other people’s działki. Somewhere in Poland, you find this vibe waiting for you.

If you see one of these stands in , don't pass it by! This is an obwarzanki seller, selling the famous obwarzanki. You just got to try one of these Kraków bagels. 🥯Toppings are optional: poppyseeds, cheese, or seasame seeds. If you like them plain, they have those too. Our recommendation is to find someone selling them from about 1.5 to 2.00 zł a piece, and have cash on hand.
