From afar, it looks peaceful. Almost holy like some haven of light…

A walled city, basking in sunlight, its rooftops catching the last warmth of the day.

Smoke rises from hearths and a caravan rolls in under the open sky.

But don’t be deceived. Not all places where humans still live are safe and good.

Behind those walls lie secrets sealed with blood and silence.

The people smile but only during daylight. They sleep with blades beneath their pillows.

They say the fields are blessed. Yet nothing grows too close to the water.

And sometimes... in the quietest hour of the night...

you can hear something scratching beneath the stone this city is built upon.

You see... not all fortresses are built to keep evil out.

Some are meant to keep it in.

And that’s why they sent you here…

To purge it.

Today we are revealing an early prototype gameplay teaser of our 2.5D narrative action adventure game driven by horror with a story conceptualised as a Visual novel, told by means of Environmental storytelling.

Chort (old working title Numiares - A Dark Tale) is deeply rooted in a brutal and unforgiving Fantasy World, inspired by a grim and dark of early mediaeval middle Europe fairytales and folklore.

You play as a holy warrior and witch doctor, tasked with negotiating treaties with the supernatural.
You’re a judge, jury and an executioner of the Nature & Gods laws, permeating the fabric of reality.

Here is the second episode of the animated series, which We had the pleasure of producing for Nauka. To lubię foundation. Thank you to Ewa Martynkien for creating a great story and translating it into the language of animation, perfectly targeted at our group of viewers! Good job! See you in the next projects!
