1951 James Comet 💙🇬🇧💙

The 1951 James Comet was a popular, economical 98cc lightweight British motorcycle featuring a Villiers 1F two-stroke engine. Produced by the James cycle and motorcycle company, this model continued a post-WWII focus on two-stroke lightweights and was known for providing basic, affordable transportation. It had a simple rigid frame with a girder front fork, a two-speed gearbox, and was available with direct or battery lighting. The bike features a 98cc two-stroke Villiers 1F engine and a simple, single downtube rigid frame. It has a single-tube girder front fork with a central undamped spring and a 4-inch drum brakes front and rear. The bike comes with a two-speed gearbox and was available in Standard and De Luxe models. It was designed as an affordable, practical motorcycle for commuters and young riders, serving as a first bike for many.

Megola motorcycle, a unique and historically significant German motorcycle produced from 1921 to 1925. Unique Engine Design: It's notable for its unusual 5-cylinder radial engine integrated directly into the front wheel, where the cylinders rotate around a stationary crankshaft. No Clutch or Gearbox: The Megola lacked a clutch or gearbox, requiring the rider to push the motorcycle or rotate the front wheel while on its stand to start it. Performance: Despite its unconventional design, the Megola was capable of speeds up to 70mph in its touring version and around 85mph in its racing variant, even competing successfully in races. Rarity and Collectibility: Only about 700-800 units were produced, making surviving examples highly sought after by collectors for their rarity, innovative design, and historical significance.

1952 Indian Patrol Trike 500cc twin ❤️💙🖤

The Indian Patrol was made in Springfield Mass in 1952 & 53. Less than 50 were made and approx 7 remain in nearly complete original condition. I have met most of the other Indian Patrol survivor owners at AMCA meets, except for one that I’ve spoken to, who is in Montana. I don’t think the Patrol’s were referred to as Dispatch Tow’s as they had the vertical Warrior 2 cylinder 500cc / 30.50″ engines rather than the V type 45″ or 74″ engine used in the Dispatch Tows. If anyone could clarify this I would appreciate it.
The Indian Springfield Patrol is direct shaft drive to the rear axle, not a chain drive, and should not be confused with the 1959 Indian Patrol Car’s, which were British built Pashleys. After the Indian name was put on the gas tanks, Pashleys were imported for sale through surviving dealerships as Indians. The Pashleys have a 350cc or 500cc single cylinder Royal Enfield engine like the Bullet and were chain drive. I have seen these English Indians at the Wauseon, Oley and Eustis, AMCA meets.
Indian Springfield Patrols, 841’s, and the 2 prototype experimental Fours are the only shaft drive Indians ever manufactured.

💪Już od 14 lat mam przyjemność współtworzyć MotoClassic Wrocław jako jedno z największych wydarzeń motoryzacyjnych w Polsce!🏰

MotoClassic Wrocław nie jest to typowa wystawa zabytków, to wielopłaszczyznowa impreza, w której warto wziąć udział. Zapraszamy na nasze stoisko!
