Tomorrow! Who’s coming too?

We are heading to Ecsite, European network science centres & museums which brings together 1K+ science engagement professionals each year. This time more than 20 workshops and at least 30 panels will be held at Experimenta - Das Science Center in Heilbronn, Germany. We are ECSITEd and will share insights as the event unfolds.

Наші пригоди з цим проектом розпочалися зі створення виставки для Павільйону Польщі на Експо 2020 в Дубаю. Надихнувшись рукописом Вацлава Северина Ржевуського, ми вирішили познайомити гостей Павільйону з цим винятковим персонажем та показати, як польська та арабська культури можуть взаємодіяти.

Пізніше ми розробили спеціальний освітньо-розважальний пакет про Ржевуського та зв’язок між польською і арабською культурами – польською, англійською та арабською мовами. Насправді Ржевуський народився у Львові і відвідував Київ під час своїх тривалих подорожей, тому ми вирішили зробити наш пакет доступним також українською! set of games & art activities is now available in !

Our journey with the project started with creating a temporary exhibition for Poland at EXPO Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Inspired by Waclaw Seweryn Rzewuski’s manuscript, our goal was to introduce this exceptional character to Pavilion’s guests and show how Polish and Arab cultures can interact.

Later on, we launched a special edutainment package about Rzewuski and links between Polish and Arab cultures – in Polish, English and Arabic. Since Rzewuski was actually born in Lviv and he also visited Kyiv during his long trips – we decided to make our package available also in Ukrainian! Check it out here: www.theemirfrompoland.com. You’ll just need a simple printer and some imagination :)

We are happy to share it with you, especially now, at a time when our Ukrainian friends need support and some time to unwind. If you have Ukrainian friends, invite them to a joint game or just drop them a link, so they could play it at home.

Stellar Fireworks and Science Now are committed members of Ecsite, European network science centres & museums – a platform that brings together science engagement organizations and professionals to share knowledge and promote science with the wider public.

At the beginning of June Kasia Świętochowska and Jaś Pomierny - our studio's Chief Development Officer and Chief Executive Officer - will participate in the 2022 Ecsite Conference at Experimenta - Das Science Center in Heilbronn, Germany. We’ll introduce new projects to our colleagues during the “What’s new in travelling exhibitions?” session — and hopefully you'll soon find out about them too :)
