Back story to this. I'd completely destroyed my leg in a skiing accident and had to have 2 surgeries to put it back together. When I was laid up in bed for months, I was contacted by Mariusz, who had heard my mixes, asking if I wanted to produce a track for his band Neaghi. We started with this song, the guys liked it and we ended up doing a whole album.
Knee reconstructions are some of the most horrendous surgeries to recover from, in terms of morale. I remember lying with my leg propped up, mixing away for months 😆. This album kept me sane during that year, just too busy and distracted to feel to sorry for myself.
Anyway, have a listen to these guys. Michal Kasczyszyn is an absolute genius guitarist and composer. And Mariusz Nowak sounds like a beast from hell with that voice. 💪
