¡Imagínate entrar a un baño público y ver un cronómetro que cuenta cuánto tiempo lleva alguien dentro!
En uno de los sitios más populares de la UNESCO en China, pantallas digitales sobre los bañistas...
Imagine walking into a public restroom and seeing a timer counting how long someone has been inside!
At one of China's popular UNESCO sites, digital displays above bathroom stalls show whether each toilet is occupied and how long the door has been locked.
Green means the stall is empty, while red means someone is inside, with a live timer ticking upward for everyone waiting in line to see.
There is reportedly no maximum time limit and no alarm. The display simply provides information to people waiting outside.
Meanwhile, Shanghai has reportedly introduced smart bathrooms that alert staff when someone has been inside for more than 15 minutes.
The technology aims to help manage public restrooms, but it also raises questions about privacy and personal comfort.
Would you feel comfortable using a public toilet with a timer displaying how long you've been inside?
