Georgia. Florida. Puerto Rico. Texas…
I posted earlier this week about a big announcement, and I’ve been pondering how to get my message across since I’m not the best with my words. But at least you won’t see me cry while I type this 😅.
The Army brought us to Texas in 2020, and I brought Confection LAB to the community of Forney. Wow, it’s certainly been a crazy time since! I intentionally chose the house we did because I envisioned the creations coming out of this kitchen and dreamed of one day opening a store-front here. I truly feel like I’ve gotten to know your families through your birthdays, anniversaries, holiday, and “just because” treats that I’ve created for you. We’ve even ruffled a few feathers with our risqué and controversial treats, but you’ve always come with the love and support.
Now is the time for a new adventure for our family as the Army has decided to move us to our next destination. It’s a bit bittersweet and this will probably be our hardest move as we’ve considered Texas HOME, and have gotten to meet the greatest people here. However, the Army has decided our next adventure… Sacramento, California.
I have not decided the path fully for Confection LAB after we make this move. As of now I’ve decided to stay closed for orders and only focus on fun creation content and could certainly use your continuous support with the online engagement to spread my love for baking with the world.
I’m hoping to have a small “Farewell Forney” sale of some treats sometime soon as this summer we will be packed up moving along. (Let me know if you’re interested in this!) You can continue following my baking journey here on Confection LAB; and if interested, you can follow our family journey with this move and beyond on our travel page TravelBattles
With every move, I feel I leave a bit of myself and Confection LAB behind and I am grateful to say Forney was one of them on the list. Thank You. 🥹💖
