Bad Bunny has channeled his hometown pride into a residency in San Juan. After the 30-date run ends on Sept. 14, he will head to Latin America before hitting Japan and Europe in 2026.

One place Bad Bunny is not performing: the mainland United States.

Instead, the star leveraged his celebrity to showcase Puerto Rico’s culture and drive economic activity during a slow season for tourism. Recent blockbuster tours from stars like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have shown that diehard fans are willing to spend lavishly to see their favorite artists live, transforming a concert experience into an international vacation.

Bad Bunny exerts his own gravitational pull: During the course of his residency, —titled “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí,” which means “I Don’t Want To Leave Here”—more than 200,000 out-of-towners are expected to head to Puerto Rico.
