Displaced persons living in the Strip suffer from tragic conditions due to the war, ongoing displacement, and lack of income necessary to secure their daily lives and livelihoods. Poverty is unbearable, affecting displaced families who have lost everything they own and are waiting for medicine to save them from the hardships of life in tents. Their children have reached the point of going to death centers to get food, returning either with a little food or with their corpses.

Many people here are desperate and risk their lives to feed their hungry children, so don't forget the children of Gaza. They are innocent and blameless.

The British company Lush closed all its branches and its website for one day in solidarity with Gaza, raising banners reading "Stop starving Gaza – We are closed in solidarity." The company estimated its losses at around £300,000 ($380,000), according to the company's owner, and called on the British government to stop arms exports to Israel. It also announced that it would donate the profits from a charity product (watermelon slices) to support the injured in Gaza at its 50 branches around the world, emphasizing that its financial loss was not a loss, but rather a duty to stand with the oppressed people.

🚢✨ Finally, the Flotilla of Steadfastness has set sail from Barcelona after weather conditions in recent days forced some ships to return following their first departure.

🇵🇸 This marks the third attempt after Israeli authorities blocked two previous solidarity missions in June and July. Unlike earlier efforts with just one ship carrying 10–20 participants, this time the flotilla set off with a much larger number of vessels.

🔹 Estimates suggest at least 20 ships, while others raise the figure to 50 vessels, with more expected to join along the way. Participants include public figures from 44 countries, representing global solidarity with the people of Gaza under siege and devastation.

⚓️ In a strong warning, a representative of an Italian port workers’ union threatened that if Israel obstructs communication with the flotilla “even for 20 minutes,” workers will boycott loading and shipping any goods to Israel—regardless of type or destination.

Testimonies from Gaza reported by Haaretz: Families face impossible choices—evacuation costs nearly 12,500 shekels per family. A single tent costs up to 5,000 shekels, and even a donkey cart or tuk-tuk ride can reach $1,000.

One woman said: “Moving from one place to another is a terrifying journey. Sometimes people prefer to sleep among the rubble or on the roads—we have nowhere to go.”
