The last two years, 2019 and 2020, were exceptionally hard on the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, some researchers even described the threat as existential.
This report, was prepared by Tafaa, in partnership with , sheds light on the serious challenges faced, in the Palestinian camps and gathering, starting with the significant pressure on UNRWA, the Lebanese Ministry of Labor decisions, the toll of the Lebanese Crisis, the increase in the dollar value and the cost of commodities, to finally the effects of corona virus (COVID-19)

Mustafa Al-Qut,
I am 28 years old and have a bachelors degree in Arabic Language and Literature. I currently work as a Palestinian field researcher for an international NGO. I am interested in the media field because I believe it is the most effective way of communicating the voice of the Palestinian youth to the decision makers and would help to bring change to various societal issues in the country. Therefore, I look forward to making a positive difference through the Youth Media Club. Stay tuned!

"In Gaza: there are two Gazas, that one running after death; that other one running after life.

Two beautiful sisters, two crazy sisters of a ruthless mother we call geography!"
~ Ziad Khaddash

Watching the horizon, dreaming about getting there, smiling you imagined yourself there, frowning you are back to reality; you cannot cross more than a couple of miles of that free water.

However, I love Gaza. I love it for my friends are there; the friends that I have never been able to meet, hug or jokingly kick.

I love Gaza because we love things that we cannot reach; I cannot have access in nor Gaza have access out.

"If you live, live free
or die like the trees, standing up." - Mahmoud Darwish

Wherever you go in Philistine, you'd definitely find a tree beautifully painted on some wall. Is that love for trees? Nature? Does it mean something? Symbolic?

This photo is taken in Nisf Jubail, a very small village in the north-west of Nablus, where artists (some of its residents) display their thoughts into a mosaic and ceramic pieces of art working in a one-room studio.

The village is situated on a greenish hill with fascinating views from all sides. Do you know old Greek? Then, you supposedly referred its name into a Greek word (Jubail; meaning "sun"in Greek); but it may also be an Arabic word meaning "a small mountain". While "Nisf" means half in English.

Its history rich though it's a small village with about 700 inhabitants in recent studies.

Google Nisf Jubail to see the beautiful village and the artistic work of Mosaic.

Hello from Palestine 🍀

Attached are pictures from Al-Masoudieh, a place where people go to have family gathering and picnics overlooking a panoramic view of fields spreading far and wide, which colourfully paints each season!

Its pine tree lined buildings are historic and one of the most important remains of the railway constructed by the Ottomans in 1914.

During the Great Revolt, this area witnessed clashes between the Palestinian resistance and the British military during their mandate over Palestine.

Unfortunately, this area has been under threat of being shut down by the hands of the occupation for many years now!

Still, it's a very interesting and beautiful place and not to be missed when visiting the country! 🧡

Our Story

Believing in change and hoping for a better future, we, Palestinian and Danish youth, came up with a platform that has been working on for almost a year in order to open the space for the Palestinians, in refugee camps, cities, villages and Diaspora to get the chance to raise their voices despite the burdens they have on the ground.

The youth of different ages, backgrounds and aspirations have joined a program that embraces their ONE MUTUAL thought i.e. change making. Over two years in row, a program called Youth in Action took place in Yafa Cultural Center in partnership with Ecological School. From introducing, each participant to themselves to exchanging ideas of how one can help Balata Camp to come up with the idea of having to raise the people’s voice, which eventually leads to the establishment of this platform.

In February 2019, 20 Palestinian youth gathered around the table to give a word on devoting some of their time and effort to make this project, Media Club, succeed. Over 10 months now, we have gained a lot of knowledge about the media (news, photography, publications, publicity and film-making) at the hands of local and international experts.

We are interested in showing all aspects of the life of the Palestinians away from the stories we always hear on the TV or radio.
