The International Olympic Committee banned Russia from participating in the Olympic Games that will be held in France in two weeks due to its invasion of Ukraine, and also Belarus for its support of the invasion.
About 17 Russian athletes will participate in the competitions, but under a neutral flag and will not raise the Russian flag or play the national anthem.
As for Israel, it will participate with eighty-eight male and female players, as the Chairperson of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, stated that there is absolutely no problem with Israel’s participation. The committee also warned participating players from all countries against boycotting Israeli teams or discriminating against them. The Israeli football team’s matches will not be played in big cities like Marseille, Paris, and Lyon... because they knew in advance what might happen with the crowds.
Another evidence of the duplicity and willful blindness of all international institutions when it comes to Palestinian spilled blood, as they evaluate it based on the identity of the killer and the color of the blood spilled.
