Bom Dia Algarve Coffee Club ☕

It’s just after 06:00 on Tuesday 16 June, and it already feels like we’re in for a hot day ahead here in the Algarve.

Congratulations to Cape Verde on their incredible result against Spain yesterday. Results like that remind us that determination, belief, organisation, and teamwork can overcome even the biggest challenges. It’s a fantastic achievement and an inspiration to many.

In many ways, the Algarve Coffee Club shares that same spirit. We may not be the biggest organisation, but we are driven by a genuine desire to help one another, build strong connections, and create opportunities for our members.

With more than 2,500 members and a growing range of interests, businesses, skills, and experiences within our community, we continue to grow stronger together. Every introduction made, every recommendation given, and every helping hand offered contributes to something much bigger than ourselves.

The strength of any community is its people, and we are fortunate to have some truly exceptional people within the Algarve Coffee Club.

Bom Dia Algarve Coffee Club ☕🌞

How are we all today on this beautiful Monday, 15th June 2026?

After a mixed start to the weekend, the forecast for this week is looking very promising, with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures across the Algarve. Perfect weather for enjoying everything our wonderful region has to offer.

We’re keeping busy this week helping members who are visiting the Algarve and need recommendations and assistance with property maintenance, cleaning services, and local trades. It’s always a pleasure connecting good people with trusted local businesses.

On Saturday evening we enjoyed another fantastic social dinner, meeting some genuinely interesting people, including several first-time visitors to the Algarve. Great conversations, excellent food, plenty of laughs, and new friendships formed — exactly what the Algarve Coffee Club is all about.

If you’re spending time in the Algarve this summer, I highly recommend joining one of our relaxed evening dinners. There’s no membership fee, no pressure, just good company and the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life.

Bom Dia Algarve Coffee Club! ☕

What a fantastic evening we had last night at the Mexican restaurant in Vilamoura.

A huge thank you to the team for their warm hospitality, excellent service, and delicious food that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Most importantly, thank you to all those who joined us. It was wonderful to spend the evening with such a great group of people, sharing stories, ideas, laughter, and making new friendships along the way.

The Algarve Coffee Club continues to grow because of the amazing people who attend our events, bringing enthusiasm, experience, and a genuine willingness to connect with others. New people from Columbia, Norway and Germany.

If you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry—there will be more opportunities to join us soon.

How are you all today?

A slightly cloudy start to the morning across parts of the Algarve, but the sunshine should soon break through and give us another beautiful day to enjoy.

Yesterday afternoon was a fantastic gathering as we met to discuss an exciting new project near Ferragudo. It was one of those afternoons that reminds you just how many interesting, talented and welcoming people we have living here in the Algarve.

The food was excellent, the conversation flowed effortlessly, and it was a real pleasure to meet so many new faces. Every person had a different story, background and experience to share, which made for a truly enjoyable and inspiring afternoon.

One of the great things about the Algarve Coffee Club is bringing people together who may never otherwise have met. Whether you’re retired, working remotely, running a business, starting a new venture or simply looking to make new friends, there is always something to learn from the people around us.

A reminder that our next Algarve Coffee Club social meetup is this Saturday from 19:00 in Vilamoura. There is no charge to attend – simply pay for what you consume.

Today, Portugal celebrates its national day, honouring the country, its culture, its people, and the legacy of Luís de Camões, whose writings helped define Portuguese identity and spirit.

As residents and visitors to this wonderful country, Portugal Day is also a reminder of the importance of embracing the local culture, making new friendships, and becoming part of the community around us.

🚨 Alerta de Segurança: Onda de assaltos a viaturas em Albufeira (Zona das Açoteias)

Gostaria de partilhar um alerta importante com toda a nossa rede, residentes e empresários da região de Albufeira.

Nas últimas semanas, têm-se registado vários assaltos a viaturas em plena luz do dia na zona das Açoteias e arredores.

Infelizmente, a situação agravou-se no passado sábado com duas ocorrências graves:
Junto a um restaurante local: Clientes de nacionalidade americana viram o seu carro de aluguer ser vandalizado enquanto almoçavam.

Foram levados bens de grande valor e documentos essenciais, como malas, computadores portáteis e passaportes, que se encontravam visíveis nos bancos.

Praia dos Tomates: No mesmo dia, várias outras viaturas foram também alvo de furto no parque de estacionamento da praia.

📉 O Impacto no Turismo e Comércio Local
Este clima de insegurança legítima está a deixar a comunidade empresarial compreensivelmente apreensiva.

O turismo é o motor da nossa região e episódios como estes prejudicam gravemente a imagem de Albufeira como um destino seguro.

Nota de Apelo: Sabemos que a GNR tem feito um esforço contínuo com os recursos de que dispõe, e que já tomou conta destas ocorrências, mas torna-se imperativo e urgente um reforço do patrulhamento preventivo nesta zona económica e turística tão vital.

💡 Recomendações Rápidas de Prevenção:
Se reside, trabalha ou visita a zona, por favor mantenha-se vigilante:
Não deixe objetos de valor visíveis no interior do carro (malas, mochilas, tecnologia).

Tranque sempre o veículo, mesmo que se afaste apenas por alguns minutos.

Caso note algum comportamento suspeito, contacte imediatamente as autoridades.
