The LEGO Black Pearl is slowly rolling out across the world, depending on where you are timezone wise!
Early release on the 12th for Insiders.

Putting this on your basket will automatically award you two free gift with purchase items, Captain Jack Sparrow's Compass and the Sega Genesis Controller, while supplies last.

Those may make the full retail price to be easier to swallow... But one thing I gotta praise though, this was one of the best builds of the entire year! Not as good as the Gameboy, but second best for sure, so if you do end up getting it you'll be in for a treat.

I bet nobody saw this coming right?! 👀 👀

The first $1000 dollar LEGO set is here, the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star, packing over 9000 pieces, 38 minifigures and is a display piece that combines most of the scenes that took place on the location you'll surely recognise.

I'm really not into LEGO Star Wars these days and the most excited I've been about a new release from the theme, has been the Christmas AT AT, and this one! Unpopular opinion perhaps, but I honestly think it's kinda cool.

I will not be reviewing this one anytime soon so yeah, I'll just watch from the sidelines for now and see what you all have to say about it!

It's a love and hate relationship with this one...

How to you all feel about the "Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship"? And the fact that it isn't called like... you know... Black Pearl?! 👀

After way too many years LEGO decides to bring back a fan favourite franchise to shelves, Pirates of the Caribbean with one of its most iconic ships the Blac...

Since I'm on vacation this flew over my head but there's a 2X Insiders points deal going on on select LEGO sets!

And some of them are proper offers like the T-Rex Skeleton and the Nasa Space Shuttle Transporter, but it varies from country to country so you need to check locally!

Maybe LEGO is trying to get you to spend some money before the exciting new releases to come? 👀

Surprisingly enough (or not...), no GWP offers will be added to your cart (at least in the US) which is a bummer, but could be a great opportunity to spend some of those points to trade for the Insiders exclusive LEGO sets?

Some are already sold out, but definitely worth to look and try find something you might have missed!

Use the links below to check the offers and if all goes well, new video reviews will be up soon! 👀

I really liked this one, and if you're craving for a Modular Building style experience, this one will be a great choice in that regard, if you can't bring yourself to wait until the next one drops in December/January.

Buying it now will get you the free gift with purchase set Italian Market Van.

August is STACKED with new LEGO releases!

There's that amazing Transformers Soundwave, the Architecture Neuschwanstein's Castle or the long awaited One Piece sets (based off of the Netflix show though...)!

There's a bunch of Star Wars as well I haven't touched (probably never will) and then a few ones I've built, but haven't reviewed yet, the LEGO Ideas Italian Riviera and a few new Botanicals, the Hibiscus and the Mini Bonsais.

A quick word about the Italian Riviera. Do you like modular buildings? Then you'll like it, the formula is exactly the same with a few different floors, good attention to detail when it comes to interiors and there's a nice selection of characters to go with it. The biggest difference between it and the modulars is that it doesn't sit on top of a 32x32 baseplate, and it doesn't connect to anything else. With that said it makes for a very interesting display piece, was fun to build and the price isn't terrible either! Can't go wrong with it.

As for the Botanicals, the Hibiscus looks great, perfect display piece out of the box with its own vase and all, as for the Mini Bonsais... They're too mini for my taste. The Bonsai Tree from a few years ago is still better in my eyes.

There's definitely a lot to choose from and I don't envy the decision making for this month...

24/07/2025

With the ongoing weird trend of remaking animated Disney classics into live-action movies, Lilo and Stitch see a newfound wave of interest that justifies sets like the brick built Stitch and Angel figures, but also the Lilo and Stitch Beach House set, a location based set that treats fans with great mix of movie references and fan favourite characters.

Being one of the very few Disney movies I’ve never watched I had to rely on my kids to understand the interior filled beach house of references, truly appreciated the level of detail and smart building techniques that went into furnishing an overall really tight space, and visually speaking, especially from the outside it all looks incredibly eye-catching.

And then of course the character selection. LILO and Stitch were obvious inclusions featured in collectible minifigure series many years ago, but making a larger set such as this makes for a great opportunity to feature never seen before characters like David, Mr. Bubbles and Nani or even LILO’s voodoo doll Scrump.

Not many LEGO set options out there for fans of these movies but the Beach House all things considered is pretty cool. At least that’s what my kids say.

Thank you LEGO for sending this set for review.

The LEGO Fountain Garden follows on the footsteps of the Tranquil Garden set from a while back, trying to set us up for a garden collection I’m kinda liking.

This time around with a bit of a Mediterranean influence with the printed elements that decorate the centre fountain and the pathways that lead to it.

Like the Tranquil Garden, this one has the same modular system that allows you to switch some of the elements around (mainly trees and foliage) for you to decorate the set to your liking, or change it every now and then to give it a new look, but this one goes even further by allowing larger chunks of the base build to be taken out and rearranged for an higher degree of customisation I really enjoyed.

Being partially biased towards Japanese culture I favor the Tranquil Garden set over this one, but that doesn’t make it any less good. Kinda curious to see what comes up after this though.

Thank you LEGO for sending this set for review.
