With the ongoing weird trend of remaking animated Disney classics into live-action movies, Lilo and Stitch see a newfound wave of interest that justifies sets like the brick built Stitch and Angel figures, but also the Lilo and Stitch Beach House set, a location based set that treats fans with great mix of movie references and fan favourite characters.

Being one of the very few Disney movies I’ve never watched I had to rely on my kids to understand the interior filled beach house of references, truly appreciated the level of detail and smart building techniques that went into furnishing an overall really tight space, and visually speaking, especially from the outside it all looks incredibly eye-catching.

And then of course the character selection. LILO and Stitch were obvious inclusions featured in collectible minifigure series many years ago, but making a larger set such as this makes for a great opportunity to feature never seen before characters like David, Mr. Bubbles and Nani or even LILO’s voodoo doll Scrump.

Not many LEGO set options out there for fans of these movies but the Beach House all things considered is pretty cool. At least that’s what my kids say.

Thank you LEGO for sending this set for review.

The LEGO Fountain Garden follows on the footsteps of the Tranquil Garden set from a while back, trying to set us up for a garden collection I’m kinda liking.

This time around with a bit of a Mediterranean influence with the printed elements that decorate the centre fountain and the pathways that lead to it.

Like the Tranquil Garden, this one has the same modular system that allows you to switch some of the elements around (mainly trees and foliage) for you to decorate the set to your liking, or change it every now and then to give it a new look, but this one goes even further by allowing larger chunks of the base build to be taken out and rearranged for an higher degree of customisation I really enjoyed.

Being partially biased towards Japanese culture I favor the Tranquil Garden set over this one, but that doesn’t make it any less good. Kinda curious to see what comes up after this though.

Thank you LEGO for sending this set for review.

LEGO Insiders Days deals are here!

This means:

- Insiders only discounts
- 2x Insiders points on select themes (City, Classic, Creator 3in1, DUPLO®, Friends, LEGO® DREAMZzz™, NINJAGO®, LEGO® Animal Crossing™, Minecraft®, LEGO® Wednesday and LEGO® Wicked)
- 4x points on a very limited selection of sets (check locally to see whats up for grabs)
- gift with purchase items

There's the Ice Pop Tray for purchases higher than $65 in City, Classic, Creator 3in1, DUPLO®, Friends, LEGO® DREAMZzz™, NINJAGO®, and then there's the African Savanna Diorama with purchases of $150 or more, excluding pre-orders.

The overall thing feels a bit underwhelming, unless you happen to find things on your wishlist that will allow you to stack multiple offers for maximum value.

Maybe you'll have more luck with Amazon Prime Deals instead?!

It's July and that means new LEGO sets!
Well it doesn't really matter the month these days, there's always something new...

Anyways, the big releases for this month are the Cobra, the Dragon, the Shoe and the Robot, got it?!

Jokes aside the Shelby Cobra is an amazing build, despite its price, the Nike Dunk was kinda nice, but its wayyy too niche, Toothless left me longing for a proper 18+ version of the dragon rather than the chibi style build we got in the end, and the Battle Droid has me somewhat excited due to nostalgia reasons alone. I might get it later down the line but I'm a bit on the fence, mainly due to price...

There's some GWP purchase sets you can get off of your orders if you plan it well, some snails?! the Creator ferris wheel and a futuristic flyer type vehicle available as a redeemable offer from the insiders rewards centre.

If you're planning on getting something be sure to use the links below for your purchases as that helps the channel ever so slightly without any extra effort on your end and is much appreciated! 💪

Actually not half bad as it means money discounts later down the line.

If you've been waiting for a deal to get the LEGO T-Rex Fossils set, this might be it!

Just don't forget, the thing is massive! You NEED to have space to display it 😅

17/05/2025

Following the motto of, if it works don’t change it, LEGO came up with yet another Bouquet for the Botanical range, this time around the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet set.

In it’s usual fashion for these kinds of products, the building instructions will show you one pagers of the flowers or plants you’re about to build, and building them could either be a mindfulness or a tedious task depending on your tastes, but one thing will never change, you’ll always find out of the context and clever piece uses, like the white frogs or horn elements for the orchid, minifigure shield elements for the petals on the dahlia, or egg elements for the Canterbury bells. These ones do feature an element I have never seen before though which we will likely see a lot of going forward for upcoming botanical related LEGO products.

As is usually the case with Bouquet sets, a vase is not included so you’ll need to find an option on your own, but once that’s taken care of, you’ll get yourself a beautiful display piece that looks amazing and will never need watering.

I personally favour the smaller botanicals, but if your budget allows, especially if you’re thinking of gifting this to someone, the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet will surely make a bigger impression. And buying multiples of this for a bigger effect, or combining it with flowers from other bouquet sets wouldn’t be unthinkable as well.

$60 for 750 pieces stays in line with most of what the Botanicals range is usually priced at so no complaints there.

Botanicals are a winning formula for LEGO and I don’t see them going anywhere in the near future.
Still surprised how can they come up with new designs year after year so kudos to the design team for that.
